The room was dirty and dated. I would not stay in this hotel again.

We made a quick trip for family weekend at ETSU. The property was 5-10 minutes away. Our king size bedroom was more expansive than expected. Tons of walk room, a decent sofa sleeper, and pleasant smelling. The bathroom was spotless but shower towels did a better job of smearing the water off me than drying the skin. The hallways are very wide and didn’t smell great. It reminds me of a renovated older 4 story hotel. The TV isn’t a smart TV so no streaming but the cable TV has tons of channels

One night stay for a female traveling alone on a budget…and it was perfect. Is it the Ritz Carlton? Of course not. What it is, however, is safe, clean, affordable, quiet and has a super friendly staff. For the type customer I am that is much more what I wanted and needed than a bougie 450/night hotel. I will be back!

Bathroom was unacceptable in some ways. There were damp washcloths and hand towels (folded up but very damp). A dirty washcloth from previous occupant was hanging on the shower rod.

Had 2 rooms - both smelled musty. Addressed to front staff for spray, wasn’t addressed. The air conditioner in room didn’t work, room was hot at night.

I booked a hotel room since my son was moving into ESTU and had called ahead a few days to let them know I would be a late check in. When I arrived after 5 hours of driving they had given my room away. I was pissed!

So every time I stay at a hotel the first thing I do is check my room for bugs, cleanliness, and anything broken. The AC unit was leaking and the carpet was soaked. The closet door was off the rails. I found garbage in one of the drawers. The guy at the front t desk came up and said the floor was wet bc they scrubbed the carpets. What a joke!! I had a fan blowing on it my whole stay which was 3 days and it never dried. Not even a little. I didn’t need to have the closet door shut so that wasn’t a big deal. The overall cleanliness was about a 4 out of 10. There was 2 machines and weights in the workout room. It seemed like homeless ppl were hanging out at the church which is located right next to the hotel parking lot. I didn’t see cameras so any time I was outside I made sure to have keys in hand and someone on the phone with me. I will not stay at this hotel again.
