Guests traveling with pets are confined to the second floor, and unfortunately, our experience suggested those rooms receive very little attention. The floors were extremely dirty, the room was noticeably run down, there was no hot water during our stay, and the air conditioning was subpar at best. The hallway had a very strong odor, which only added to the overall impression that the pet-friendly floor is not properly maintained. When I addressed these concerns with the front desk at checkout, my comments were met with complete silence—there was no acknowledgment, apology, or attempt to address the issues. I understand that pet-friendly accommodations require additional upkeep, but that's all the more reason they should be cleaned and maintained well. Based on our experience, I would choose a different hotel if traveling with a pet.

Never replaced towels took them but didn’t leave any. Pool was empty under maintenance middle of July . Never any coffee in lobby. Smelled musty and like animals

Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff was very friendly and kind. Hotel room not only appeared to be clean but also smelled clean. They had the hotel room set to a comfortable temperature when we got there instead of it being hot and sticky. Check in and out were both smooth and simple. Will definitely be staying again if we ever venture back to Johnson City.

We had a nice stay at the Holiday Inn for a baseball tournament weekend. Great location. We’d booked the property for use of the pool that we found out once there was out of order indefinitely. Also the moisture in the air in the rooms left our clothes feeling damp the whole weekend and a wet feel to the carpet. Overlooking that, the staff and amenities were great!

It felt like this room was as humid as it would be if you were camping in tall grass right after a heavy rain in east TN. The sheets were wet, the carpet floor was so sticky, and my skin was wet. This was a nice hotel, but the humidity in our room was horrific.

Rooms smelled musty and wound up buying an air purifier. Also booked a month ahead because of the pool and got there to have no pool as it was being resurfaced. Under the bed was so dusty. Had to ask for towels most days and sheets not changed the whole 6 days we were there. Would not likely return.

I had somewhere to rest. Overall, it was okay. Can do better with cleaning and better ventilation/ fan for bathrooms. Hopefully they fix their pool.

Beautiful property well maintained room just didn’t like the fact of not having breakfast without having to pay for breakfast

I wanted to like this property, but unfortunately between the loud fan that wouldn't cut off, the dog barking, the loud thumps and knocks throughout the night... The privacy curtains along the window would not shut either... so just sheer curtains against the outside which faced the hallways, which I could see clearly in..... along with the muggy carpeted room... I just wasn't happy. Felt very uncomfortable.

Pool was closed

Hotel is dated with old amenities. Our restroom door handle was jammed, and would lock us out.

Everything was great except the pool was closed

Room was filthy. I’m honestly disgusted and had to switch rooms. They were accommodating but I never got rid of that icky feeling from the first room. Never had an experience like this.

I picked this hotel specifically wanting to use the pool it said nothing about it being closed for maintenance when I booked my reservation. This should have been flagged somehow that was the main reason I chose this hotel and the pool was closed. I was very disappointed.

Came in for a quick stop with the kids. The hotel was very friendly and clean. The one thing to note is because they have a resteraunt on site they don’t have free breakfast. That was a bummer for the kids but I was aware of it going in. Definitely recommend
