This property is in need of a total rehab! Here are some specific examples: the microwave oven works if you hold the plug in the electrical outlet, the refrigerator wobbles when you open or close the door, rain came in the front door leaving a large puddle of water in the room, no cups for water or drinks, food crumbs were in the cushions of the two chairs, the floor lamp had a greeting taped inside the shade but was misspelled and looked stupid.

It was nicer than mist

The iron handle yellow, there was a stain on my sheet. Checked in for 4 guests and the room only had 2 towels and 2 wash cloths. There was no preparation for the our stay. We walked into a very hot room without the aircondition on for our arrival. For the price I paid expected a much nicer place, room and experince.

Room was clean. Staff nice. Was really noisy at night though.

Still haven't got our $50.00 deposit back!!!!

It’s apparent that this hotel is being maintained or improved but has been around a while. The room was quite cramped with two beds, a chair, a table, desk, dresser, two refrigerators, and a microwave. It served the purpose of an economical place to sleep for a week and many people seemed to enjoy the outdoor pool on site. Convenient access to I-26, downtown Johnson City, and surrounding areas including Bristol TN/VA.

The only thing that I didn't like was the entrance door didn't fit right.

Absolutely the worst hotel to stay at!!!!
-
The room was absolutely filthy. Sheets were stained..walls were gross. There was Food Roaches and an old press on fingernail in between the bed. Pubic hairs on the sheets and toilet..DO NOT DO IT!

The breakfast cleanup person usually has a moody personality. She is also very adamant about cleaning up 5 minutes before the close of breakfast. Be sure to show up at least a half an hour before they close or you wont be able to eat.

Clean room, once we turned the air conditioner on it cooled the room quick. Bathroom was clean, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. If we're in the area again we will stay here again.

The room was great! My gripe is with the staff I was charged twice for a room and when I called and went to the front desk no one could give me a straight answer why and said I would have it back which I haven’t received yet. I traveled to Tennessee for softball as a single mom every penny counts and that extra $150 was for gas which I had to borrow. Will never book there again ever! In a world with so much technology no one could help me and they still haven’t!

For the area and price ya a great find in a great location . While the rooms and carpet are outdated and need some paint , maybe some maintenance overall it’s a nice stay . Plus the pool and breakfast are rare in the area . Albeit the breakfast isn’t anything to write home about

This place was horrible. Inside our first room it was dingy and old looking, with burn marks on the counter, and the toilet paper roll was coming out of the wall. The TV was tiny. The shower head looked gross. We had to ask for a room change after an hour because the smell of marijuana was so strong in our room from the guy next door smoking on the balcony/walkway. It came in through the crack at the bottom of the door and the AC. The inside building room was a little better.

We do a memorial ride every year to JC and we stay here. Breakfast is simple but tastes ok. Some rooms a/c doesn’t work well but they’ll move you if they have availability. (2nd week of July is softball tournaments and rooms are full!). This year our a/c about froze us out. It was amazing! The mini fridge worked well and the bedroom and bedsheets were clean. (No bedbugs!) The king size bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean but there was a used bar of soap left (no biggie) and the shower head needed a toothbrush taken to it. Decent water pressure but the sink drained slow. The pool was nice. The stairs could use a good spider dewebbing lol. The ice machine was super clean in our building. Just FYI the keys cut off the morning of your stay so if you go in and out carrying stuff to the vehicle don’t let the door shut. For the price and only a $50 deposit it can’t be beat.

The AC did not work good staff charges for service animals even though they say they don't

We chose this motel after learning that the Holiday Inn across the road closed its pool during the softball national tournament week. A week of softball in 100 degrees with no pool? No way. The Wyndham came in clutch for us at the last minute. The pool was clean and fun at the end of our long, hot, ball field days. The rooms were swept, trash emptied, and towels replaced everyday while we were at the field. The breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, a meat, potatoes, waffle maker, cereal & milk, coffee & juice, bagels, toast, muffins, cream cheese, butter. All the breakfast items you’d expect. I had a small issue with my sink stopper and maintenance was right on top of it the next morning. The maintenance staff looked to consist of a family who took their responsibility seriously and pride in their property. Front desk staff were all kind, helpful, and professional. They gave me a first floor room near the pool which made my room a fun hangout for the softball players in the evening. It IS a motel so keep your expectations realistic. But if you can handle a colorful clientele and a simple, unassuming, no-fuss motel, I’d recommend this place to you, and I’d stay there again. The bed was comfy. The A/C fan unit was perfect, the TV had wifi, the microwave and mini-fridge helped us survive the week without eating out everyday. Let them know what you need. The front desk staff seems eager to please and the maintenance staff seems happy to serve. I’d like to thank them for hosting us.

I had a wonderful stay, everyone I came in contact with were very helpful. Great location.

Great AC. Good breakfast. Bad beds.

The property is old, it looks like they care more about the homeless community on their property and less about their paying customers. We'll never go back.
