Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort

Only comments which are not really complaints but could be improved, dinner at Kahuwai cookhouse could be better, the burger didn’t really impress for the price, bbq oysters also didn’t impress, needed more flavor on both, seems a missed opportunity for them to not have wood fired pizza or just a more bbq over fire focused menu, we would have loved that. Overall I would give it a 10/10, we will come back and plan to visit other Rosewood resorts after this.

amazing resort, extremely family friendly with every amenity you can imagine. the service is top notch, the food is good, and the setting is unbelievable. I will definitely be a guest again and I hope they continue to uphold their current standards.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful hospitality. Bridging the bikes they have everywhere really makes it fun. The food was top notch and the decor of the room was a nice, stylish Hawaiian approach that was easy on the eyes and so beautiful

Fantastic experience staying at the Kona Village Resort. Staff's attention to detail was phenomenal. The atmosphere was like Paradise. Food was delicious, too. Everything you could want in a special vacation.

Gorgeous property with lovely staff

Kona Village is magical - the grounds, the hales (rooms), the spa, the yoga, the bikes to ride around the property and the stunning beach. But such a magical 5 star resort should also offer excellent cuisine and hospitality. We were shocked by the inconsistent food, the lack of variety and the room service which was never correct and delivered uncovered. We were so excited to return to our beloved Kona Village after 16 years but were left very disappointed. Unless something dramatic changes with the management we shall not return.

Beautiful design, room was spacious and amazing. The most disappointing part was the food … eat at the Mauna and the Shipwreck Bar neither were good.

Amazing in every way.

I have to rant about this place. I have traveled all over the world and this resort is the most beautiful place I have been. The food is out of this world. The staff is absolutely the best I have ever seen. The rooms are top notch all the way. I can’t not say enough about this resort and the people that work here. 10 out of 10 on everything.

Food was not great…. Every restaurant has the same menu…. Food wasn’t worth the trip or the price…. But the staff and surroundings were fab…. Went to the Canoe House for great food ( Mauna Lani)
