Main Street Hotel

surprisingly quiet to be able to sleep very well (it is close to a trafficked street, however it was quiet after 11p). there is a 10.000 step trail behind the hotel. you can use it to clock your steps or to casually walk over to Safeway and get a coffee/ food. or to go the local restaurants, all in 5-10 mins walking range. the hotel has its own restaurant/bar, so that another bonus.

Hooks for hats, bags and more space to hang up my waders would have been great.

Very clean, good WiFi, hot water and good shower head. Great food and they had live music. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Restaurant on site provided great value and service as well as delicious food. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location for our trip to fish!

Location Room a bit small

The hotel was quiet Front desk staff was not available. Had to wait in a very long line at the bar to get my room. Asked one employee to help me and instead of helping me she made me wait in line over a half hour. There was a comedy show going on and obviously short staffed

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was in a great location and the rooms were comfortable. Also, the restaurant had awesome food, with funny and conversational servers! Great all around!

I love the food and service in the bar/restaurant. Dixie, Jill and Biz are a blast. The rooms are small but are always VERY CLEAN! Comfortable beds make it a great place to sleep. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Very nice staff. Good price. Breathtaking sunset in Kenai beach (a short drive away), with view of volcanos.

The location to prepare for an early flight out was great except for the road noise as it's on a busy street. Staff (Jill) was awesome and super helpful. There was no temperature control - the room was stuffy and opening the windows helped but we closed them when we went to bed. we slept with the fan blowing over us all night. The bed was super soft foam which was warm and made changing positions almost impossible. Not a good night's sleep right before a day of travel.

Decent place to stay, close to the activity

No a/c for 2 days, no repair , we were there on hot day , no excuse We did want to leave but No idea what to go

It was a comfortable, convenient location for a stopover in Kenai - a classic motor hotel stop for an Alaska road-trip.

Great central location right at the Y in Kenai. Although it is situated right at the intersection, we didn't hear any highway noise, and the area felt very safe. We left a bike chained to a post outside our room and our paddleboard strapped to the top of the car.

Lots of parking Coffee for one with a party of 3, 2 sets of towels for 3 adults, no ice

I love the front desk, lady. She is the sweetest lady. I met her last year. I was able to see her again this year and hopefully I’ll see her next year. The soap at the property is just a tiny little bar of soap and I brought my own soap. I brought my big shower soap for the four of us to bathe with and also it was four of us, but we were only given two beautiful towels to work with, but I brought my own towels too, so that was really no problem

It was the opening season of dip net salmon fishing but it was also our child’s baseball tournament so finding a place that was safe, close to town, and not too expensive was paramount. This place was good for what we needed - a place to sleep and rest between games. Walking distance to everything we needed. It had a fan, tv and Roku, and small coffee maker and fridge and microwave which was nice. Nice trail right beside place and lawn to sit on. The tub was slippery because it was porcelain maybe adding a bath mat would make it be safer or a handle. We had four people but just two towels. Of course we can get more but it would have been nice if there was some in the cupboard by the sink as well as extra soap stuff.

Room was clean and comfortable. Food was great.
