Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kenedy/Karnes City

For the price it was not bad but the sheets were dirty and we found a couple of bugs. For breakfast we assumed there was going to be some sort of fruit or even the eggs and sausage but guess since Covid this is no longer a thing.

Horrible service, horrible staff. We arrived and this property had NO POOL! When we asked to cancel because it was false advertised, they said NO! Do not stay here, pay the extra money to stay elsewhere.

It was one of the worse places I’ve stayed in. It was like the cleaners came and made the bed and maybe vacuumed, put in some towels, not clean, and that was it. Then to put the icing on the cake, there were roaches everywhere. Staff was pleasant

Most staff was friendly enough. Close to where I needed to be. No breakfast only waffles. No juice or even water. Breakfast was the main reason I chose to stay here. Covers and sheets on bed was COVERED in stains. Water pressure in shower was trying to take skin off it was so hard.

Convenient location Breakfast was horrible. No food other than waffles or cereal. Guy at the desk was rude and disrespectful.

Breakfast was okay: waffles, bread, coffee, cereal, and peanut butter. Pretty freaking dingy motel, but again, it was about $55. Pros: I did feel safe as a woman.

The place smelled odd and the bedroom smelled like insect fogger/insecticide and cleaning supplies. You could here the sound of the cars driving by, as well as, the front desk clerk & customers from the bedroom. We were unable to sleep. The bathroom floor seemed clean but it was sticky.

I'll start by saying the night desk guy was good. Tried he to be helpful. But the room was bad. AC was super loud because the cover was loose. The first bed had dark black hair on the sheets. The second bed was stained with some kind of purple fluid. Roaches in the room. This is the kind of place we're you stayed with your buddies when you were 25 yrs. old and needed a cheap place to stay to stay, not anywhere you want to stay with your wife or kids.

First thing is the strong fragrance you get, slapped in the face with as soon as you walk in the door to cover up the smell of mold and mildew. The carpets down the hallway are ruffled up and need to be re-stretched walking down the left hallway. The paint is bubbled most likely due to water damage coming from the second story. The first room I went into the light didn’t work. The AC didn’t work either. The room was hot and humid. The second room. I went to had a strong mildew and cigarette smell that poise there were extremely unprofessional, and when I canceled, They told me to contact Expedia to get my refund and then turned around and told Expedia that someone was staying in my room when I had clearly been gone so they are also thieves.

Breakfast was not even available during the time it was suppose to be, No coffee, no cups for juice, nothing. I had roaches in my room and it smelled like cigars and stains everywhere. Cleaning staff was nice and did accommodate my requests, but all staff should be in some sort of uniform front desk was in shorts and tshirt.

I like the space I had with the studio I had. I also like the comfort of the bed. I didn't like the dryer taking my money and not working nor offered a refund. I didn't like that the in room coffee maker didn't work. I didn't like the 4 choices we had for breakfast waffle, muffin, toast, fruit loops. No coffee, no juice, no fruit.

Room was good. Didn't have king bed. No full breakfast on Saturday. Orange juice and coffee machine didn't work.
