Everything was great — except the cockroaches in the room. Thank you for the heads up from the other reviewers! They just don't seem to be controllable in this area. Got them out of our room when we arrived (3), and then never saw them again. The room itself was very very clean and comfortable, and remarkably quiet given it is a motel. The 24 hour taqueria is a gem nearby. Cockroaches, breakfast was meh but the price is so low it is fair.

The room smelled of an old carpet and a weird smell that made it feel like the doors of the room havent been opened for months. There are some small insects as well in the room

The room was very clean. The bed is extremely comfortable. A great place to get a good night’s sleep as you travel 5 Freeway.

Carlos at the front desk was great. It was very dog friendly with a big grassy area Starbucks and Dunkin right next door. Tesla. charging station right there too. The only thing was a couple was arguing really loudly in the parking lot. Which was making my dog bark. But I called the front desk and Carlos said he would handle it right away. It stopped and everything was ok.

It appears to have been remodeled. It's clean and well-maintained. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Location It seemed like there was a private residence next to the lobby despite this being a chain hotel. There was just displaced items wind chimes etc next to the lobby entrance. And there was the chain hotel branded welcome mat next to what I assume is the inn keepers quarters front door and then a plain black mat next to what I figured out was the lobby door. It’s just very confusing and poorly laid out. Truly bizarre.
