Comfort Suites Maingate East

It smells mildewy and we had a cockroach in our room. Very busy with families. Old hotel and close to parks, so know what to expect. Additional parking fee per night. Breakfast was good. Wouldn’t go back

The outside trash was too full and trash was all over the ground around the trash can. There are not an ample amount of carts to be able to tote up or down luggage. Having access to a 24-hour pool is amazing

The bathroom was questionable. The water was running down the wall and bouncing outside of the tub. The shower curtain was too short width and length. So because of this the water soaked the floor. The room was nice and clean. Very roomy. The staff was great at check in and check out. The pool was clean. Walking distance to Old Town. Definitely recommend.

Everything was very good, but I think the pool and Jacuzzi area should be kept tidier and cleaner; apart from that, everything was excellent. Breakfast was very good, staff excelent and the room was clean when we arrived.

PARKING was spacious. Walking to Old town & Fun Spot. Free Breakfast: 630-930 ONLY. Coffee was good. Waffles yummy. Eggs instant. Yucky. ROOM: was spacious & more than we needed. We had room 332. You could see fireworks right from the room. Cons: ROOM: Entering the room it was great. Till we found a dirty wash cloth behind our bathroom door & a sales tag on our TV stand. Not the end of the world. POOL: The pool area was dirty. No towels. Even when I went to the front desk to ask. It was an hour later b4 they set out about a dozen towels. Dont get me wrong there was only about 20 people at the pool so not busy. The women's pool bathroom door does not close properly or lock at all. I pulled the door closed as tight as I could still wasnt latched. Handles coming off. At 99° I was stuck in the bathroom. Banging on the door & kicking it to get out. Two people from outside had to pull it open. RESTAURANT: NO, theres no restaurant. Its a snack area by the pool. The pool bar/restaurant was NEVER open. I asked both days why & I was given excuses both times. It was supposed to open at 4. At 515 when I asked one front desk lady said he had a tire issue and the other one said stuck in traffic. The following day I asked again after 4 & was told hes stuck in traffic. We never saw it open. SHUTTLE: There's only a shuttle to the theme parks in the morning. We wanted to go to Disney Springs around 2 & told no. FRONT DESK STAFF: short haired wavy/curly hair RUDE. Left side of desk

Staff are great. The room is clean and the pool area is very nice and private. The property could use a little maintenance.

There was a smell in the room

I never thought I'd be saying this but I probably won't be back for this reason. Thanks

The bar is a complete joke, it is closed completely on Sunday and Monday. There are flyers posted all over the hotel, so not being open everyday looks foolish and lazy. The bar tender is an inattentive, surly grump, (keeping my language clean) who clearly hates his job. That system needs a complete revamp. I will also note that charging guests to park in your parking lot is ridiculous. That seems cheap and appears to be one more gouge on tourists. Other staff at the hotel were very good, helpful and friendly.

The rooms are not well kept. Showers not very clean, linens had hair on them and room smelt. Pool area was dirty due to other guests not respecting the property, but no one goes around to clean it up. Only way up and down is elevator and it takes forever. They started charging for parking which is insane, I got a ticket for not paying but mine was complimentary due to booking prior to the change.

Room was huge! Comfortable beds! Nice and clean and a good breakfast.

I’ve stayed many times before and it’s always a pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Last time, my only surprise was that parking had to be paid, which I never paid before. Price is not bad but I wasn’t expecting that. Breakfast needs to be updated.

I was satisfied...had to check out early due to changed plans but the room was great, close to everything, very affordable and clean.

Very surprised with this place. Very nice, well kept and super clean. Location was amazing, in the middle of everything fun! Staff was incredible, extremely pleasant and helpful; I will definitely stay here again.
