The motel is old and run down. The beds were not comfortable and the furniture was outdated and in bad shape. The lamp didn’t work and bathroom tripped the breaker. The room although old and dingy was clean except for the fake nails left behind on the floor. The doors use a code which is given by the office and you do not choose, this was very unnerving but everything was fine during our stay. We had to request TP since we only had a half roll for two grown women but the cleaning lady was very apologetic and helpful. Bottom line is you get what you pay for…a cheap motel at a cheap price. The owner seems to have multiple properties that seem so much nicer so maybe he will put in the effort to fix the place up.

Staff very accommodating. Outdoor facilities on the decrepit side. Warped, peeling, unpainted and rather depressing. Front desk access very sketchy.

The curtains were to light and there was a light on outside the room and it was like daylight all night. The water pressure was not very good and could use an actual shower head.

Good value for the money. Nice location Confusing checking in as there are a couple different locations owned by the same company

Room smelled like mildew. There was constant running up and down the walk way. The ceiling needs to be replaced it is buckling from water damage. There was 1 lamp in the room for lighting. No electrical sockets that you can reach to plug in phone or devices.

Pretty good place, close to a few things

Pool is always nice and location. It’s becoming very run down. Inside and outside needs a lot of updating. All the carpets should come out of the rooms. Our washcloths had brown water come out of them. It’s a shame because the staff are always so nice. We have had so many great memories here. We’ve been staying here for many years. Unfortunately this time might have been our last ?

Room # 3, a standard double-bed room was small and musty smelling. Decor was very old and depressing. Curtains were long and covered the heating vent, and did not provide adequate privacy. LED light outside spilled into the room at night so I unscrewed the bulb. A cold draft came through the bottom and side of the door, which caused the loud heater to run constantly. Old mini fridge froze all food and drinks. Towels were old, thin and abrasive. Room had one wastebasket, which was in the bathroom. Only 2 accessible outlets; one at the bottom of one bed; the other near the fridge/microwave cabinet/dresser. Outside door lock used a key instead of a card. ANYONE could turn the keyhole with their finger to gain access. We brought our valuables (laptop, iPad, etc.) with us when we went out. Fortunately, there was a deadbolt for when we were in the room. If you cancel after making your reservation, the cancellation fee is the cost of the first night, regardless of the reason. This motel is owned by Gregor Hotels, which also owns nearby Lake Haven Motel, Lake George Inn, and Sundowner Motel. Don't assume the pics shown on the Motel Montreal website are for the Motel Montreal.
