Don't walk, RUN away from this "resort". It is falling apart and needs a complete overhaul. Our room was dirty. No one dusts or deep cleans and you can see dust and grime everywhere. No water came out of the faucets when we turned them on. We told the front desk and someone came and did something to turn the water on. When the water did run, it was a disgusting brown. We let it run for 40 min. and it was still gross. We moved to another room that was better but the tv's were not hooked up. I was assured by the front desk that someone would come in 15 minutes, so we literally slept in our clothes waiting for someone to come BUT THEY NEVER CAME. We told the front desk we were checking out in the morning because our experience was so unsatisfactory. Gabriella assured us we would get refunded for the next night. We were told there would be someone at the front desk 24/7 but when we checked out there was no one there and the security guard said all we could do is leave our key passes so we didn't get to actually check out with anyone. We never got refunded, 12 days later, as we were told. Now they are not taking my calls. I have no idea how I am going to get my money back for the extra night. The people are nice but there seems to be some incompetence going on there. The hotel is old, dirty, and there was only a handful of people staying there in the middle of summer so it is clearly not a popular hotel. Many of the restaurants are completely closed inside. Just stay away.

1st off this place has a lot of potential. However, They charge guests way too much to not have renovated this place since it was built. (It was built in the 1940’s) It stinks and smells like a different funk on each floor. It’s creepy as hell. The curtains in our room didn’t close, We didn’t get a trash can in our room until the last day of our trip, and the toilet water is hot and steamy like it came from a jacuzzi. Doesn’t sound healthy for the nether regions and it was uncomfortable. As 2 women staying alone in the room, The curtains NEED to be able to shut. Ridiculous. Like I said, I can see why this place used to be popping back in the day. It’s not anymore though. You have a pretty good chance finding somewhere cheaper, cleaner and nicer.

NOTHING Facility was absolutely disgusting!!! I would t let my dogs sleep there. The moment we arrived, the place looked like an abandoned ski resort!! When I walked in to check in there was a line of customers waiting to complain!! Sent to a different building and entrance was almost impassable due to overgrown weeds and the floor so written the entrance door wouldn’t close!! Room was nothing like what is pictured on Booking.com.

The property appeared to be old and poorly maintained all the way around. We did not even stay for one night. Checked out within one hour of arriving.

The restaurant in the main building as well as the one at the lake have both been shut down. The mini golf is dirty and we noticed the bricks collapsed off the side. The house where you used to get the rental equipment is abandoned. The hotel room was horrible - stained walls and curtains. The hallway and elevator carpets were dirty. The toilet in my room did not flush and the knob for the shower fell off upon touching it. I heard many people making complaints to the front desk, as did I. The waterpark was ok, although it needs repairs on the steps up to the slides and the kids play tower was closed off for use. The arcade looked clean. We did not have time to go to the movie theater so I cannot comment on that. The activities were fun - bingo, karaoke, hiking, arts and crafts. The outdoor pool was clean but there is no life guard and it did not open until an hour past the stated time. It is clear that ongoing maintenance could have avoided most of these issues but at this point they will need major repairs throughout a lot of the property. Overall due to the lack of cleanliness and maintenance I will definitely but sadly not return. Very unfortunate.

My stay was great my only complaint is that the room I stayed in had no can for trash
-
Room was dirty and had horrible odor-ground floor windows did not lock or have screens-huge safety concerns-did not stay but property refused to refund the cost

Absolutely nothing!! Do not be fooled- this property is neither “dated” or “worn out” - it is DIRTY, unsafe, and overall filthy from the entrance to the sink! One word to sum up the grounds, bedroom, building— FILTHY. The sink in both rooms are rusted and brown water was coming out from the sink and toilets, the elevator is dirty, dusty and had garbage, the hallway is musky and dirty. The entrance is unkept with random concrete blocks, cigarette butts, garbage. The entrance is kept open where anyone can go inside the building and into the rooms. The sheets and pillows are stained with blood and who knows what else. A “clean room” had hair in the shower tub. The sink and toilet had coughing noises while spewing out black sediments along with the brown water.

There was a bowling alley and game room that we enjoyed playing at. Inside the room was clean, smelled fresh, and plenty of space. The buildings are kind of setup weird, almost maze like, which could be frustrating if you are in a rush, but our family was not on a schedule so we viewed it as an adventure like exploring the backrooms. I would suggest more arrow signs telling people where blocks of rooms are to avoid confusion. This place has seen better days. The HVAC in the corridor was not operating so the hallways were a bit musty, the facilities are thread bare. The water park hours are a little frustrating and the pool was closed for a "private event" without notice. The buffet could use some revision.

Property was located on a lot of land. Love that there was a mixture of people, nature and animals coexisting together. Lots of things to do while staying; waterpark, pool, movies, arcade, bowling, etc… My children LOVED the waterpark section. Love the range of things for all ages from the splash areas down to the wave pool and slides. Did not get to use the younger children’s slide though as it was taped off. Liked that the staff spoke different languages so they could cater to most, if not all the people staying. The site even had events that were going each day just in case you were looking for something to do. Reception service kept going in and out, sometimes no service at all. Hotel did offer WiFi but it was unstable so using the WiFi was a hit or miss, even for their equipment like the tvs. Half the time we couldn’t watch tv because things weren’t functional. Had to move rooms on the 2nd day due to A/C issues in the first unit. Then our second unit had no hot water so we couldn’t take showers. There was an elevator for us to access but no certificates posted of when it was serviced or if people were to be using it at all. Hated that there were cigarette butts all over the property but there was a smoking section available and clearly not everyone was using the appropriate equipment that was provided to discard of their butts, but the resort wasn’t cleaning up those type of things either. Location has a bounce house section advertised but it was down the entire time of our stay so we did not get to see what that was all about. Visitors have to pay for the water park section. Was under the impression that came along with the stay as that is the main attraction. Prices weren’t that bad but after paying for your stay then having to pay per person for the water park, you can clearly tell that’s where they’re making a bigger profit. Would’ve been nice if that was included in the final price with the booking of your room/rooms but I understand why it wasn’t.

it gave abandoned vibes no AC in the room and the whole place smelled like sewage
-
The area is peaceful and quiet. The waterpark is a bit overpriced for not having everything fully functioning. I also felt like the pool water may not be maintained well. Overall the room was decent. We had a great time down by Lake Harmony.
