Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Mary At Colonial Townpark

It was a wonderful experience, and I truly enjoyed my visit. The receptionist was warm, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The excellent customer service and pleasant atmosphere made a lasting impression on me. This is definitely a place I will come back to and stay again anytime. I highly recommend it!

Few choices, muffins ice cold with no microwave too warm them up

The breakfast is nothing too exciting...watery oatmeal, pre-packaged omelettes, soggy home fries, dried out sausage patties, but thankful that at least there were protein choices available! To be fair, I arrived near the end of the breakfast hours, at 9:00. I appreciated the 6:00 breakfast start on flight day! The only tea choices were earl grey, green, and constant comment...no black tea like English Breakfast and no black decaf, so tea drinkers need to be aware and bring your own. The staff members were all very personable and helpful. The biggest advantages to staying here is the easy distance to the airport and the fantastic location within one minute's walking distance from a cute town center where you can find all sorts of restaurants, a Publix, a spa/nail salon, ice cream, and even a big movie theater! No car necessary after checking in! Five stars for location!

I would never stay at this or any other Hampton inn. Front desk personnel are the worst. Let’s not forget the horrendous breakfast. DISGUSTING!

It was an awesome experience!

The staff was great. However, I booked 2 rooms. We were given 2 rooms for large family on the same floor. Upon entering one of the rooms, someone's things were already in there. We went downstairs and let them know. While it was a mistake, We waited another 30 minutes before getting another room (on another floor). The entire night I was restless, hoping that someone did not gain entry to our occupied rooms.

The breakfast selection was wonderful. My room was clean, however the carpet had a weird feel to it. The carpet might have been clean just before my stay but otherwise was a solid room and experience. It was nice that alot of restaurants and shops were in walking distance as well.

I've stayed here for work over a half dozen times and like most other places these days - the rooms needed to be vacuumed. At least one minor annoyance for each stay - missing garbage cans, no backup toilet tissue, light fixture in bathroom was burnt out, questionably clean bathrooms, loose bathroom faucets, leaky shower door. Unfortunately, this is par for the course given the price point.

And while the staff was super polite, they made a huge mistake booking us in a room that was already checked into. We walked in to another suitcase and bag in the room. While mistakes happen, this was a HUGE area of concern for me. And an inconvenience. We then spent 30 minutes of a very long day trying to get the room. situated.

Not very clean. Also I was told to leave the lobby and wait outside while I was waiting on my friends to come downstairs

We stay at a lot of Hamptons and we liked the location as it is close to the eye surgeon for my wife’s cataracts. There were restaurants in walking distance, a movie theatre and a Publix available. However, I was concerned about the maintenance of the property. One door covering the refrigerator was already broken off and gone. The other door in front on the clothes drawers was hanging by one latch and fell off during our time there. The microwave turntable was broken. And why do you have the attached soap dispenser at the sink clear across the counter dripping water as you try to get some soap to wash your hands. The refrigerators downstairs were broken the entire 5 days we were there. The doors to the breakfast area are all coming off their tracks and I felt sorry for the employee trying to close them. Finally someone in the restaurant came over to help her from the outside. Also, I don’t like that you now are charging for parking.

Property was clean and conveniently located to the airport and restaurants.
