The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North

Hotel was very clean and neat. Bathroom was large, water was provided for guests during the extreme heat. Staff helped us with printing our boarding passes which we were grateful for. Will be staying again in the Sanford Florida area again. The only thing I would recommend it higher toilet seats for those with stiff joints, and walk in showers.

Location. I appreciate the manager, Spencer White, for their assistance. Uncomfortable room environment that made everything in the room feel damp, from the bedding all the way down to the toilet paper. The breakfast and dinner room service was delivered to my room in to go boxes versus being served with plates and silverware. The refrigerator didn't work and was leaking water.

Very friendly staff. Property is older. Not enough hangers. One bottle complimentary water. Everything is extra. No frills. Great location across street from good restaurants, cigar shop, and theater. Very good not excellent.

Buffet one morning was good and reasonably priced. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping fine. Off the menu one morning was pretty bad. Lukewarm coffee. Staff moved in slow motion and seemed confused as to who was supposed to do what. Had to repeat order twice and asked for ticket three times. Food was mediocre.

Don’t think twice, stay here!

Stayed here because it was close to a wedding venue we were attending. The rooms were clean, and the staff was nice. It was very cold at our time of stay so we did not get to explore many amenities. Good for a place to stay if doing things nearby.

Great option to stay for a couple of nights.

What stood out most was how quickly and compassionately the team responded during my husband’s emergency situation. Their care, urgency, and calm support meant more to us than words can fully express. That level of service is something we will never forget. The property itself is breathtaking — peaceful, private, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by the most stunning views of the Blue Mountains. I would rate the property a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason it is not a full 10 is because the final road leading up to the resort is very rough and could be improved, and the pool was not quite as appealing as the rest of the property. The food was also excellent — 9.5 out of 10. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable, though I would have loved to experience a little more authentic Jamaican spice and traditional preparation in some of the dishes. The staff, however, were absolutely 10 out of 10. The overall experience was 10 out of 10. Strawberry Hill is a special place filled with beauty, peace, and exceptional people. We are deeply grateful for our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for rest, restoration, and a truly memorable experience in Jamaica.
