From check I. To check out I was able to get assistance and ideas of things to do with the kids during our stay. Had a great time at the three pools, walked around the spa, arcade and restaurants.

There was not a fridge in our room at the Avila’s. Cannot remember the last time my hotel room didn’t have a fridge. The room above us fried bacon and it was horrible! The shower was amazing!
-
Our shower didn’t work and we woke up to cockroaches coming out of the sink. There were also cockroaches in the shower. We packed up at 6am and left. No one acted concerned at the checkout desk.

Only booked a 2 night stay, but we can't wait to come back when we can stay longer! Beautiful pool areas, dated rooms but they were clean and comfortable. Convenient location and friendly staff, especially Jeff at the receptiondesk.. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants, so can't comment on that, but the stay was lovely.

Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic. The view of the lake is fantastic. The property is very dated and needs a lot of TLC. There was not much staff around. The pool water was very cloudy. The bartender was drugged out.

1st time there, hadn't been to the Lake of the Ozarks for several years. The staff, food, bar, entertainment was awesome. All the other guests were friendly, polite, it was the best four days of relaxation. Will definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodge and will definitely be back! From it's location to local activities to the beautiful view of the lake from our balcony that we enjoyed every night!

We've been coming to the Lodge for many years so I hate to write this review. But it's time for us to move on. The owners unfortunately haven't kept up with updates and the rooms just aren't up to par anymore. The hallways felt like a sauna with air noticeablely not working well, and the balconies directly below our room were so dirty I would have complained if mine. So many things just needed a good powerwash or dusting, that it becomes unacceptable to await supposed updates that are coming. The staff is friendly and there are definitely worst places to stay, but if looking for a luxury resort this is not it anymore

Location was great The property was a little run down and in need of significant repairs. Pealing paint, deteriorating steps, closet doors off the tracks, backed up drains. The property is old and tired.

We will DEFINITELY visit again because of the amazing staff, beautiful lodge, and amenities. We will be bringing cleaning products, better shoes, and extra blankets. It's an older property, and it needs the management company to invest in repairs and updates to give the staff and loyal visitors the safe, beautiful facility they deserve while maintaining the history and vibe they love
