Exceptional

I really enjoyed the location as it was close to a ton of activities and the hotel itself was extremely nice. The staff went out of their way to ensure that all of my needs were met. The noise from the HVAC system was extremely loud in the room making sleping very difficult!

The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of freshly prepared choices. The only thing that was strange was that there were big holes in our walls and ceiling with wires sticking out. Looks like they were mid renovations.

Everything was great staff was professional.

The room was clean and there was no issue with that. The problem was the elevator was under maintenance all day which caused an inconvenience when my spouse and I had to leave. It was not okay having to carry all of our luggage down three flights of stairs. The matter with the elevator should have been dealt with earlier in the week instead of waiting until the weekend when you see most of your guests.

The air con was so loud all through the night and I am a good sleeper normally The wifi never worked - despite being reported twice. Shame as this was the third Marriott of my trip and not up to the standards of the others.

I just wish the hotel would've mentioned the fact that the TV and light in our room were broken and apologize that they were sold out and didn't have another option. Instead, they later acknowledged that they knew those issues but couldn't fix them. Just wish it hadn't been a surprise.

This is a very nice, clean, and quiet place to stay.

The breakfast was good and the breakfast bar was clean and set up well. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful to guests and the best I have had anywhere I have stayed. The best part was one of the housekeeping staff that worked on the day shift was one of the nicest, caring, and compassionate people I have met. I was in town to take my husband to a doctor’s appointment in Tampa and see family. My husband is a cancer patient and also had a bad chemical burn on his leg and I left to run an errand. This wonderful lady which I can’t remember her name but it started with an “M” is a supervisor in housekeeping brought towels and coffee to our room while I was gone and my husband answered the door. He wasn’t feeling well when she came to bring the items and was about to fall and she helped him and was going to call help for him but he said he would be ok. She stayed to make sure he was ok. The next morning I seen her and she asked about how he was and I was telling her his situation and she had told me she just lost her father the week before. I thanked her for being there and not leaving him when it wasn’t her job. I am in the medical field and also a professor at Keiser University and she is an example of an exemplar employee. I would like to thank everyone their kindness during our stay and we will be staying every time we are in town. N/A
