Always a nice relaxing stay

Everything except breakfast was fantastic. Maybe I was a bit spoiled by the great dinner in the restaurant

Nice mid century modern decor

The free breakfast had sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, donuts, muffins, bagels, cereal, milk, coffee. Plenty of parking available. Staff was friendly. The pool was nice but the hot tub was empty. The a/c in the room didn’t work at first but was fixed somehow by the time we woke up. The restaurant is very nice and has some unique options that range from salads, burgers, to pastas, and all the way up to steaks. Lots of options. Also there is a nice looking bar if one was wanting some beers. Would definitely stay here again.

Checked in, went to room, the room had not been cleaned at all, bed was not made, dirty towels on the bathroom floor. I immediately went back to front desk and let them know it was dirty. They gave me another room, but unfortunately it was right next to an area where there was loud music and people talking loud. The receptionist was nice. That's about all I can say about it.

Sink was clogged and the was construction in on of the rooms but it was good

Lots of trash in the parking lot & I spent about an hour killing all the flying insects in my room. I did ask to get moved to a ground floor room that I could park in front of which cost an extra $30 (which made this a subpar value). If I stayed in the interior 2nd floor room this likely would have been a different experience. The room also had an odd smell. Overall a very underwhelming experience based on the good reviews I read.

Only issue was no elevator

Breakfast was especially good..The room was clean, however, there was a very strong smell of refresher that did not seem to dissipate although we left the door open for quite awhile. The sink did not drain, but maintenance came and addressed the issue.

The girl in charge for the breakfast was very nice.

When I first found the Cow Palace I was wondering why it was in Lamar CO. It is an older non-chain motel and it’s awesome. The rooms are broken into a living room, bedroom and bathroom. I was on the highway side with some noise during the day but the bedroom is quiet at night . Bathroom had a claw foot tub, modern vanity and large walk in shower with every type if head imaginable. Great courtyard/atrium, looks like a jungle. Staff is great, rooms are clean. This is the best deal I’ve run across in a long time

Having such a nice restaurant is why we stay there.

I stayed in a studio room and it was great as a single traveler. The shower was large and easy to figure out. The restaurant on the property had great choices, I had the quesadilla and it was great.

Breakfast was okay. But no egg option and bagel even it was displayed in board. Varity of breakfast was not so good.

The bottom sheet had small blood stains. There were no face cloths. Breakfast was not even tempting.

I hadn't stayed at the Cow Palace since the remodel and I can say that they are doing a very good job with the remodel. The hotel looks amazing and our room was great. I would stay here again next time I am in town.

Clean, quiet. The warm breakfast was delicious. Dinner in the restaurant was nice. Would stay here again if necessary.
