Quality Inn Lamar

Needs to be updated, the AC unit clanked all night long and when I left 10 minutes before the breakfast was supposed to be out, I just grabbed some coffee for the road. It was cold!

Don't book after midnight! It automatically changes your booking to the next day without notifying you. We were driving late at night with a car full of children who were exhausted! Not only did they refuse to fix the dates on the booking but they also refused to refund me!! Unfortunately that was the last town on our route home so we had to drive through the night because of the careless of their customers. We take this route often and we will NOT be picking this place next time, for sure!

Needs remodeled badly beds are like a rock

Not great! Just a place to stay. Ac was broke. Will not go back. Breakfast was a joke.

Usb port from the lamp did not work... my phone didnt charge but luckily I woke up 15 min before alarm.

The bed was very stiff, we both were in pain each morning, the shower was terrible, went from cold to very hot multiple times during showers both days of our stay. Kept getting locked out of the room, and they had to reset the key. Just not comfy or very clean in the halls or going up the stairs, paint stains on the carpet, no railing to hang onto.

The room was clean. Poor location and due to the age of the building and poor maintenance it was not accommodating.

The cleanliness of the room was ok, the microwave was broken and the fridge didnt work. When i walked in the 2nd day there was a young guy sitting on the couch picking his nose and eating it playing a video game. When i coughed to let him know i was there he got up and moved into the breakfast area and carried on picking his nose and eating it and playing his video game. So even if there was breakfast i absolutely would not of eaten there.

Must have had sewer problems as an overwhelming smell frequently invaded. Parking poor.

It’s two stars

The room was adequate but old, dated. This older hotel is sorely in need of updates. The lobby is not attractive or welcoming. The hallways are dingy. The rear exit smelled terrible. We waited close to 10 minutes to check in while the front desk person had a phone call with a manager. No evidence of the customer coming first.

Parking was easy ac kept room cold

Poor breakfast no fruit or hot foods... facility is old but bedroom was okay

The breakfast was not ready on time, we left possibly at 6:20 and it still wasn't ready. Breakfast not ready on time at all.

It has truck parking which was good since my husband needed to park his dump truck for work. The AC unit worked but not great. The room still got pretty hot with it running. Breakfast was pretty minimal. Other than that it was a great place to stay and our experience was overall positive.

Breakfast was poor and not fully stocked when it opened. Desk clerk was not helpful.

The facility was clean and comfortable. Our heater in our room was an “air conditioner “ you could set to hot or cold but it ran all the time loudly! It didn’t have an auto button in it just high or low! It was quite noisy. The breakfast was not satisfactory. I had to go find someone to restock the plates and the juice. Nothing hot on breakfast menu besides the waffles. The muffins were dry like they had been there for days.

Very shoddy workmanship on the renovation repairs, looks awful. The bed spreads were stained, mattress very uncomfortable. Will not stay the again.

It was just okay, 3/10. Bed/pillows were uncomfortable, facility just seemed dark, dated, and subpar.
