Dog was barking all night and I couldn't sleep!
-
Elevator not working when we were trying to leave. Annoying with bags on the stairs.
-
Pool was nice. Breakfast had variety and tasted good.
-
Pool heater was broken and the cleanliness questionable. No dressers to lay out clothes. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room, bathroom shower was on a slant with no place to grab and was slippery.
-
Everyone is really helpful and our room was clean and ready. Everything was perfect!

We had reserved and paid for two rooms for two nights at this Hampton Inn about a month previously. When we arrived, the desk agent had trouble finding our reservations because the computer system was down. One was for a party who would be coming separately who later decided to stay elsewhere but came for the second night. Check in was slow, but we eventually got our rooms. The TV in our room curiously welcomed an unknown “Matthew,” but we ignored it. Later in the evening, around 10 pm. Matthew let himself in and was surprised! He had used Hilton Honors to make his reservation. It’s good I was naked! I sent him back to the desk, with me following. At this point, the computers were still down. I mentioned that the spare room we had could be used if there were none left, if we got a refund for one night. This was not an option—Matthew got his room. So, we were going to bed late, and at 1230 am, we get a knock on the door, to see if our room was in use, this time by another agent. When I came to the door, the agent had left our spare room open with lights on and was assigning it to someone, even though we paid for it. I asked her to lock up the door, as that was still our room. She had attitude with me and said “she had already apologized.” OK, who goes and knocks on doors at that time and doesn’t check by telephone? She was checking to see if she could give away our room without a refund. This seems dishonest or at least incompetent.

Breakfast was okay. Rooms were clean and laid out nicely. The only issue we had was we got there right before 4, an hour after check in should be available and our room was still not ready. With 2 young kids, we hated having to wait nearly 20 minutes to be able to get in the room after driving for 4 hours.

Clean comfortable room. It was hot and AC was on when we arrived. 1. A housekeeping by the name of Ashley complained loudly about a disagreement with other staff in common areas. 2. There is one elevator and staff did not prioritize guests. 3.We left our pillows and when we called to locate them they could not be found and did not call back despite a request to do so.

There was no running water in the room at 9am, the morning of our check-out. I went down to the front desk to notify them. Turns out that they knew, and that there was no running water for anyone. They said something like, "there was a leak so it was turned off. It should be back on again shortly." There was no notification to the guests (call, text, printout under the doors, etc) and no signs up. The water was still off at 10am. We had to get going and checked out anyway. It's not easy to get ready in the morning with no water. Leaks, etc., happen, but did water have to be turned off an hour or two before checkout, and couldn't they have warned their guests?
