Comfort Inn & Suites Diamondale – Lansing

Very run down and in need of maintenance... carpets very worn out. Toilet water seal did not seal after flushing. Had to keep the top off to jiggle it to seal. Tight fit to get in the bathroom. Had to walk in around the door to get it to close. Almost no water pressure in the shower. Coffee tasted like ass.

Our room and bathroom was clean. The beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the pool but it could use a good cleaning. The breakfast sausage links were very good (better than the patties at most choice hotels). The muffins were fresh and the coffee was good! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would return to this location when visiting my son again.

Bathroom was not cleaned

The hotel was close to the highway and allowed for late check-ins I had to flush the toilet when I get into the room, hair in the tub. Bathroom was clearly never looked at or cleaned. Stains on the bed sheets and cigarette burns on the drapes. Ice dispenser did not work.

Looks just like the pictures online! Beds are comfortable! Mild was in the shower curtain & bed sheets had stains like no in had washed them!!!

The room was clean and nice. No smoke smell. Fairly quiet at night. It is a good place for a short stay.

location beds were super hard only had 1 set of each towel instead of the standard two sets people usually get.

Wish it had a hot tub

Staff doesn’t know how to do their job properly, they tried to charge my moms card twice upon arrival after she already booked it she’d of time &’ paid.

Mattress was worn out, along with everything else.

Nice hotel with pool. Staff was warm and helpful.

Close to the nature preserve venue Smelled everywhere even as you approached the building, broken closet door fixed by a coat hanger, sagging shower rod so the curtain would not stay, stains on the carpet, window pane had failed so it was completely clouded, bathroom had awful smell not fixed by Lysol spray, broken gym equipment and a host of spiders under the towel stand and dust and dirt everywhere. I expected a decent room since this is the Comfort Inn and Suites name but was deeply, deeply disappointed.

Switched rooms- dirty and broken bathroom fan, drawers, closets.

That is not an acceptable solution or the level of customer service I expect from any hotel. A guest should never be expected to cover up a mildew odor with air freshener instead of being offered a clean, suitable room. The lack of professionalism and concern for guest satisfaction was very disappointing. Because of this experience, I will not be staying at this hotel again, and I cannot recommend it to others.

Very accomodating staff, there were a few issues we brought to attention the first night and they were delt with in a very timely manner. Very nice family run oporation that went out of thier way to make sure we had no issues with our stay.

Staff was friendly, check-in and check-out was smooth and quick.
