Comfort Inn Laurel - Fort Meade

There was a bedbug in my friends bed and brown streak marks on the side of her bed linen. It took over 1 hour after check in for the room to be “cleaned and inspected”. There was also some liquid mildew dripping from the trashcan linen. 1/10 do not stay here. We only stayed here for 1 night and all these events happened.

The staff was courteous, and professional. The room was clean. The only amenity I needed that was not there, was a self service laundry.

I didn’t like anything about the property The multiple cockroaches in my room including trails of roach feces. The dirt stains on every surface from the headrests to the rugs to the bathroom. The group of bikers that partied loudly outside my room by the hotel entrance with loud music and yelling all night until the sun came up that the hotel never put a stop to. And the fact that the hotel said they couldn’t refund me the cost of the night.

Room smelled like mothballs and Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Staff was nice nice and attentive, but still couldn’t fix the Wi-Fi issue. Good breakfast variety for the price.

One of the staff was very helpful. I can’t remember her name but she was so sweet and helpful. I enjoyed my stay with my family there for two nights. The breakfast was very nice. I will recommend this place to family and friends when ever they are going to Maryland.

The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I didn't give it a 5-star review because the bottom of the pool is so rough that we all went home with cuts on our feet. Also, there was mold in the bathroom.

We arrived 2 hours past check in and our room was not ready. We walked into a full blown party in the lobby that spilled out into the parking lot. There were dozens of members of a motorcycle club that had basically taken over the hotel. The desk person assured us that they would clear out and quiet down by nighttime. The party continued until 4:30 in the morning. It was loud and rowdy. We were not able to sleep at all. I called the desk around 2:30 am asking them to do something and they said they would speak to them, but nothing changed. We were not offered any compensation for our awful stay. Not even an apology. When we were ready to check out, there was not a staff member in sight. We tried calling the desk repeatedly and waited for nearly 15 minutes before we gave up. We were not the only people waiting for help. It was a shame because it was a nice hotel, and what would have been a pleasant stay was ruined by the staff’s inability to keep control of their hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The pool wasn’t open when I went due to weather they said. Also you have to ask the front desk for housekeeping and I didn’t find that out until the last night of my stay.

We booked two rooms for a family of six, including kids and their grandparents. The bed height in the room was too high for one of the grandparents. We contacted the front desk for help, but there was no response. We needed house cleaning, and the staff said that house cleaning is offered only by reservation and that the day's reservations were full! We asked for two towels, and the staff asked me to return the old towels before getting any fresh ones. We returned the old towels, only to hear that the fresh towel stock is not available. One of the grandparents got locked in the bathroom because of a malfunctioning bathroom door. Apparently, the staff knew about this condition and still rented this room out without fixing. It was quite an experience of despair. The manager came to the rescue, not a technician. Somehow, the manager managed to open the door, but it was not clear if she would. The breakfast was of low quality with long gaps between restocking the empty food bins. Our experience was high-class mismanagement and an unwelcoming staff. Not worth a penny!

Very comfortable firm beds. Great for those who have back problems. Good AC. Nice fitness facility and outdoor pool. A decent breakfast, much better than comparable hotels in the area. Good selection of TV channels. Room doors have dampers keeping them from slamming shut. Stairwell doors have dampers keeping them from slamming shut. Elevator bell is low, and it's operation is much quieter than other hotels. Plenty of free parking. The property is well managed with features that support customers in having a comfortable stay. Just some small things. There was a stain on the carpet. No breakfast turkey sausage or bananas.
