Lansdowne Resort and Spa

We were here for 2 nights for a wedding (wedding was not on site). The low rating for staff is because of the young man who greeted us upon check-in. Not friendly, offered no information regarding parking, elevators, Wi-Fi, no pleasantries at all. (Have you seen the Gen Z Stare memes? He should be one of them!) He begrudgingly asked: do you need a map of the property? Well, as first time visitors - if he had asked or seen that we came from Calif - that should have been a clue. We avoided him moving forward. Others were lovely, as were the rest of the staff we encountered. Breakfast buffet is outstanding! We also wanted to play Pickleball and was told we could just walk on, there were no reservations. We got to the courts and all 3 were taken; players told us they had the courts reserved for 3 full hours. That didn't seem like a good set up. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed, super comfy bed, quiet even though the hotel was PACKED with weddings & events. Good location close to Dulles and a short drive to downtown Leesburg.

I brought my wife up here for her birthday weekend. The room we were staying in had a beautiful view of the environment and the mountains. The wait staff was very nice as we did in-room dining for our breakfast and we ate at the Cotton Rye restaurant for dinner. And the food was pretty good. My wife used the massage service and it was very lovely. We both did the Floating Bath service, and that was a pleasant experience. Things can get a little pricey around here. But overall, it was a very good stay. And we would love to come back.

Location, pool, restaurant. The jacuzzi wasn't working outside. There needs to be And not the Jacuzzi in the adult pool, since you have 3 different pools, there's not enough

Place was fine, wasn’t any nicer than any other hotel, just double the price.

The grounds are great, the hotel and rooms were very clean. The staff was great and very friendly. We had a great stay! I would update the bathrooms a bit.

Very clean property. Nice rooms, but the beds were pretty firm, seemed like the pillow top had bed squished over time, likely needs to be replaced. We asked for extra padding for the bed and were thankfully able to get some which helped. The pools are nice but close early. The ping pong table and corn hole can't be used after the pool closes, not a very good set up with that, but there are 2 pool tables in one of the restaurants. Overall we would stay again as long as we could get extra padding for the bed again.

Great clean place

The hotel property and staff were great. The service at the clubhouse restaurant was terrible. We didn’t get one of our meals until after everyone ese was already finished and had to ask to have it removed from the bill. Otherwise the hotel was lovely but the dining experience was sub par.
