Lansdowne Resort and Spa

Enjoyed the Spa. Unfortunately the big restaurant was closed. The smaller one was extremely noisy and not very enjoyable for our special celebration

This resort never disappoints! The busy Fourth of July weekend is very well run and staff is amazing — everyone is super nice. Good food options, great pool spaces, beautiful views, lovely hike to the water. Can’t go wrong!

It’s a beautiful place but the rooms were fairly average. Nothing special. The shower was the worst part, it was either super hot or cold. Went to a trickle on medium. Couldn’t wash my hair! Also the breakfast buffet was $30 per person and not that great either. If you’re a golfer, you’d love it. Also rained so couldn’t sit by the pool so … eh.

Excellent swimming pool and suite room to spent 2 nights with a 5yo and a 1yo. Breakfast was expensive and not that good. Staff was very friendly.

The ground’s were walkable and very scenic. Enjoyed the outdoor seating by the fire pit while enjoying the night air The accommodations were a bit dated. I expected a higher end look and feel of the room based on the price.

Great resort for families. The swimming pool is perfect for kids, and the property has a lot of open space to walk around and enjoy. The room was spacious and comfortable. Self-parking was easy and convenient. Restaurants and supermarkets are only about a 10-minute drive away, which made the stay very convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant family stay.

Beautiful grounds, amazing spa, food, particularly the breakfast buffet, was fantastic. Golf club top notch. Service was great. Pool and poolside restaurant could be revamped

The resort was gorgeous and well maintained. The proximity to various vineyards was perfect.

Clean and staff are excellent In room meal order was slow and often slow to answer the phone. Poor service for in room service.

We loved the resort amenities, especially the pools. Also very close to downtown Leesburg where we went out to dinner. The best was comfortable and the room and bathroom were nicely decorated and very clean. Nothing

We just overnighted but it would be delightful to stay much longer and take advantage of the spa, local wineries, golf, etc. The rooms and facilities are beautiful.

Only reason review was not excellent was that the previous occupant of our room evidently had set the alarm clock for 5:30 am on a holiday when we planned to sleep in and it was difficult to turn it off. No apology was offered for not making sure it had been turned off.

Everything perfect. Very pretty grounds.

No fault to the place but it rained the whole time we were there. Made the best of it by touring Leesburg and eating at several restuarants. Not a lot of people around so that was nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent! Wine tasting was good too

the grounds were nice but the hotel itself slightly dated. The staff at the restaurant was under staffed so service was not exceptional. They were downright rude at the end of the night. There were weddings there the weekend we stayed and only 2 valets for what seemed like a hundred cars.

The staff was extremely helpful and always very polite and friendly.
