Nice quiet friendly place

The rooms we stayed in were just redone. It was a really great experience. The rooms were basically brand new. Fantastic staff and amenities. My only caveat to those thinking of staying here is that it is right next to the entrance to the PA turnpike (Rt 476). So there is some noise occasionally from trucks and cars. It’s not bad, but some may find this off putting for sensitive sleepers.

The property location was not good. It was next to truck ramps in the windows sucked cause you could hear them almost coming into your room at night. Horrible sleep.

Really nice stay, clean, quiet and good location

Clean room, good price quality balance

Hotel met all our needs. Decent location to get to all the activities and Jim Thorpe.

Breakfast had a great variety! Hot tub was clean.

Besides the construction work going on, the carpets in our room were dirty and stained. Everything else was good. Breakfast was very nice.

The front office staff had a bad attitude once we arrived and was not very nice to deal with

Its overall clean and good, but there are random spider webs in the corners. They have a microwave in the room which is rare nowadays. breakfast was good they have the waffle machine, vatiety of cereal and boxed oatmeal, there was also omelet with chesse and sasuges, but the fruits were not fresh and the apples looked old. the coffee taste was really bad in my opinion. loved the pool and the hot tub, the outdoor seating was lovely too. we only stayed for 1 night so I didnt get to use all the amenities. I would stay again but definitely will not count on their coffee!

We had a very roomy and comfortable room. Breakfast included hot items and a nice variety of foods. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to Jim Thorpe and other scenic areas.

Convenient location, friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Elevator made a scarry banging noise when reaching the 1st floor, but other than that, wonderful stay.

Room was clean, quiet, and the staff was great!

The front desk staff person was nice and helpful. We had to request two items due to a last minute change and they were handled quickly and pleasantly. I usually don't enjoy staying at hotels. They seem very cold to me. But I felt comfortable when I walked in. Breakfast was a basic breakfast bar; fruit, yogurt, waffle making station, bagels, muffins, oat meal and cereal. The coffee was hot and they surprisingly had hazelnut creamer, which thrilled me. All in all a good trip and will definitely consider this hotel if back in the area or other Country Inns and Suites. Thank you!

We arrived the Friday night on the big 4th of July Holiday weekend. The desk receptionist was wonderful, and quick to check us in - love those chocolate chip cookies at the desk! We had only been in the hotel for a half hour when a violent thunderstorm with strong winds knocked out the power at the hotel. We were on our way out to see a family member but I felt bad for those who arrived after us - no power, no way to check in! Upon our return 4 hours later the power was back on, and our room was fine, temperature-wise ( the heat was blistering that day). A Great breakfasts, a nice indoor pool that was well used by lots of families, and a friendly staff will keep us visiting this hotel on our future visits to the area!
