Comfort Suites Liberal

My TV didn't work, so I called the front desk. My room phone didn't work, so I could hear them, but they couldn't hear me, so they kept hanging up on me. I used my cell phone to call and told them my room number and that my TV and room phone weren't working. They said they'd be right there. I waited and waited. Finally they came and told me they knew the phone didn't work and that the TV wasn't working because of the weather. They couldn't have told me this when I called?! No apology. No offer to help. No discount.

The breakfast quality is pretty low. The cooked stuff anyway. The yogurt, cereal and apples were fine. Just skip the rest. The staff was never, ever at the front desk. They have a little motion detector that rings a bell and then you wait for someone to hear it and show up. The place is clean and the bed was comfortable.

The property was kept up. Everything worked and the A/C was not too loud. All the linen and towels needed were provided in our room in advance. Breakfast had a variety of choices. Great choice!

We have stayed at this hotel several times since 2022. This hotel has gone downhill significantly since then. There was no air-conditioning in the lobby, hallways, or the fitness center, they left the door open near the Continental breakfast letting all the flies in, due to the heat. When I asked the front desk staff to turn the AC on in the fitness center no one followed through. Staff are almost nonexistent and never at the desk. The walls are banged up the hotel is getting trashed. It’s terribly managed.

The beds are super comfortable. The AC has a constant fan setting. The breakfast has several options (corn dogs) which was a new tasty treat for breakfast. The staff is always polite and helpful.

Easy to find, room was a nice size, like the fold out couch for our party of 5. Parking lot awkward to pull into, lobby was warm, I think the AC must have broke because they had a fan set up but it did very little for the large space. I was glad we got down to eat breakfast early, any later and it would have been very hot in there. Shower head leaked (sprayed).

Ceiling fan in bathroom had no on/ off switch so runs 24/7 too noisy. Blackout curtains would be appreciated. Breakfast doesn’t start till 6am. Something earlier would also be appreciated.

In general everything was very clean !!

Very spacious room

The appearance of the building was nice. The AC was not working in the hallways, lobby, gym or room. My room smelled like dirty hair, it was the pillows!! I went to gym treadmill was broken. Sign was posted. Turn on water for morning shower cold water only. Stopped by the front desk to check out. They didn’t seem too concerned about my stay. They insisted my payment hadn’t gone through. I gave her my card and was charged for the room. I would not recommend this property. I also will be contacting my credit card company to get a refund on the second charge.

Really nice hotel. Clean spacious and welcoming. Staff was a little dry but property made up for it!

The tv didn’t work all that well. Satellite provider, but it kept freezing and pixelating even though the skies were clear. Hot tub was temporarily inoperable, but it happens.

There was nothing I disliked about my stay at this hotel.

This was a very clean hotel that was close to eating and shopping. The staff was great and the breakfast selection was good. Out room was quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep.
