Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Limon I-70 by IHG

I was not able to park my truck with a small trailer on their property. Was informed that it could be parked on the street or down the block. Me being handicapped neither of these were an option. End result I stayed at the neighboring Best Western where the parking was quite adequate to park my truck with the small trailer.

Very clean and comfortable! Nothing!

Yes! The floors of the hotel room were filthy, the toilet wasn’t working well, there were no tissues in the room, the washer in the hotel was not working and too some money from me, and the tub drain in the room wasn’t working well.

Easy access from the interstate but off the road far enough to be quiet. Breakfast was very good with nice selection

It was somewhat clean, although toilets and bath tub were rusted. Our initial room had a rotten egg smell when we turned on the faucet. We alerted staff and they were accommodating by moving us to an upgraded room. They were kind and apologetic. We arrived around 10:30 and there were obnoxious birds screeching that almost sounded like bats. You could hear this sound in your room. The hotel is incredibly outdated. For being nearly the most expensive place in that hotel strip, you would think there would be a little more value. Not on par for your typical Holiday Inn by any means. There was also a weird and off putting smell throughout. The second floor hallway downright stunk, and while the king suite we were moved to didn’t smell bad, it almost smelt like an overpowering cheap cologne. Again, the toilets and shower in both rooms we were in had rust. The initial room had that weird rotten egg smell when we turned on the sink. There were stains all over the carpet, couches, and hallway carpet. The elevator and lobby floors were also incredibly dirty. The second room we were put in, which was supposed to be a “suite” had a much smaller and older tv than the initial one, and didn’t even have a hair dryer. This property just does not seem to be well maintained.

Pool was closed, no notice of such before booking.

Clean rooms, was headed to Denver, and wanted to stay away from the smoke. Nice place to stay!!
