Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago-Lincolnshire

We liked the location The hotel is far from the rating it has . It’s not remodeled and it has many flaws . Pool seemed it had mold on floor near pool. It also had outlet with screw almost falling out . Asked if we cant get a refund after first night and we were told no cuz we paid in advance. They stated thats their policy but they failed to show me a written policy saying thats their. Booking refunded the second night as it was stated their policy was only to be charged first night. Breakfast staff was very nice

My room needed a repair to the electrical outlet at the bathroom sink.

The breakfast was very good, well-stocked, and had very flexible hours; the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Excellent service

The staff was very helpful, especially Jamie Perdome. The rooms are large, comfortable and accommodating. The pool and patio area are also great. There was not adequate parking.

This place was so amazing and family friendly. We stayed here for my son's Navy Graduation and planning on going back again. Great experience!

We had a nice suite with a nice King bed and a roll-out bed, which had a poor mattress. The free hot breakfast was okay, not great. The eggs were not hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional

It was a beautiful property in a very quiet neighborhood and close to downtown Chicago (about 40 minutes) and Six Flags (about 20 minutes). The grounds are well kept, the pool was large and clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. The infused water and coffee in the lobby was a nice offering. Our room was hot for 2 of our 4 day stay. They did send someone a couple times to try and rectify the situation and it did get fixed day 3. The breakfast was okay, not much space in the serving area and ran out of several things without refilling. Woman working it was not very friendly. They also had a social hour on Wednesday evening with snack like offerings and free beer and wine but honestly, it would probably be better if they just didn’t offer it. They had bread but no butter, some veggies and lettuce. I dance bottle that no one could get ranch out of. We don’t drink but heard several people say the beer was warm and all foam. Someone mentioned it to the employee who basically ignored them, again she wasn’t very friendly.

The cleanliness and the breakfast was fantastic! The bed was not as comfortable as the Hampton in McHenry! It was OK!
