Very clean and cozy love the additional touch of appletv in the rooms so you can stream your own content. Pool and hot tub were nice but rarely used them since we were busy with day excursions. Daily breakfast was great but better to get there earlier since they tend to run out of things.

This place was exactly what we needed. I quiet and quaint get away. Beautiful area with a very nice pool and hot tub. Enjoyed the amazing breakfasts in the mornings. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. I slept better than I have in any room away from home. We will definitely go back again someday.

The bed was old two years ago. Like sleeping in a soup bowl. The deck had a loose board and you heard everything happening in the room above. No excuses on the bed.

Highly recommend! Property was beautiful. Staff was helpful. Quiet stay!

Lower building has a view Upper building has no view

We very much enjoyed our stay on this beautiful property. It was very relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Casey. It's very close to Camden and Rockport. The facility is getting a bit dated, but still a wonderful place to stay. Would return and highly recommend. Also, I had the best warm lobster roll at McLaughlins in Lincolnville.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding. Very spacious rooms. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Our balcony view to the ocean was memorable. If your long for R&R this is the place to come to in Maine.

Special thank you to Erika for the excellent restaurant recommendations. All of the staff were wonderful. The breakfast, infinity pool, hot tub, spa massage, and oceanside chaise lounges were the perfect combination. I found the experience to be a good value given how much less you get for the same price closer to Bar Harbor.

Amazing grounds, staff, pool and breakfast. Would absolutely visit again!

Beautiful resort with excellent staff. Wish there were more options for breakfast instead of just a full meal. Also wish there were lunch and dinner available on the property. Baked goods were available at the main house in the morning. It would have been nice to have them in the upper location.

The pool, jacuzzi, spa, and beach were nice, although the walkway down to the rocky beach felt a bit unsteady. The biggest issue, however, was the fire alarm on the first of our two nights. It went off twice: once around 1:30 a.m. for at least eight minutes, and again around 4:30 a.m. for more than 22 minutes. No one answered the hotel phone during either alarm. Hotel staff explained that it was due to a faulty sensor that had since been replaced. The hotel did comp one of the nights, which we appreciated, but the second night was still worrisome because we were unsure whether the faulty alarm would go off again. Overall, this was not the peaceful final stop we had hoped for, and it was not the experience we expected for the price.

Really enjoyed the outdoor fire in the fireplace at night.

Beautiful place in mid-coast Maine.
-
Beautiful grounds and landscaping. Extremely pleasant staff. Large room with working gas fireplace. Nothing.

Great breakfast, large room, fun pool.

Great place just outside of Camden. Calm and serene. Awesome staff at every shift. Amazing food. Wish they had a lunch and dinner options too.

During our few days in Camden, we visited all the shops, dined at waterfront restaurants, drove up to scenic Mt. Battie (which also offers good hiking), walked on the rocky shore of the Bay (gorgeous views) from the Inn's grounds, + took a 2-hour sailing trip on the Schooner Surprise. I highly recommend the Schooner Surprise, for an intimate sail w/ very nice captains/owners. Just be prepared for cold temps and wind with coats/scarves/hats/gloves as needed. *Tip: book on the actual website of the Inn at Ocean's Edge for breakfasts to be included + to avoid payment discrepancies between Hotels.com and the Inn. Also, don't order "1 + 1/4 lb steamed lobster" unless you want to crack open an entire lobster!

An absolute gem!!! Wonderful grounds, staff, and everything about this property was perfect!!

Beautiful place. Good staff

This place is *seriously* nice! Outstanding views, facilities, food and extremely friendly staff. It may have helped that we were ahead of season and so it was quiet and it meant we got an off-season rate. Everything was top-notch with all the little extras to make you feel like a valued guest. My family loved it.
