The Riter Mansion

What a gem! The mansion has old world charm with modern convenience. From the minute we walked on, we felt at home.

This was our second stay and we loved it. The room is nice and comfortable. The food was great. Everyone is friendly. Definitely will stay again.

The breakfast was the real star of this place. We had the most delicious homemade apple pancakes and they were SO good! The staff was wonderful. Very kind and accommodating. I will say that this place is a little more tired than I expected. The room was pretty outdated and old. It was clean but it could really do with some updates to freshen it up a bit. It also looks like the outside of the building could use some maintenance. Another heads up- it is also an events center. There was a wedding going on the night we were there and it did feel like we were intruding on their party a little bit :). Overall a good experience but if you're looking for something more updated this isn't the place for you.

Riter mansion is the most amazing bed-and-breakfast place! Definitely one not to miss!

It was a busy wedding weekend, so lots of people in and out, but we had no trouble finding parking.

Delicious breakfast both days, spacious library, room, bath and shower options, showers a bit tight, but everything else was beautiful, historic, and comfortable.

The staff were very sweet and breakfast was sooooo good.

It has great history which we like to explore. The breakfast was delightful and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our welcome chocolates by our bedside. The outside appearance was a bit of a mess. While we understand they are doing some renovations, especially to the back of the property it still could use some cleaning of the outside areas. Lawn care, dirty exterior walls, etc. our room was clean however there seems to be black mold in the bathroom where baseboards were removed and redone. There was no local tv only casting off your own cell phone. There could have been more comfort with extra pillows which we did not ask for. The inside was mostly clean but needs a little attention with touch up paint.

Courteuos staff, room was clean, and breakfast was great.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. The mansion's exterior needs some upkeep. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.
