The layout of the hotel is very inconvenient. There are no elevators to the rooms you have to take stairs. And it is an inside corridor hotel. It makes no sense.

Room was decent and clean. Bed sheets and pillow covers looked clean but smelled off.

No wifi, could not send or receive calls. And they suddenly changed room key access with out notifying guests. Could not control AC. Did not refill or replace shower toiletries.

No phone service inside the hotel says “SOS” the WiFi was also down so I had to go outside just to use my phone.

I would say everything was great except for the fact that I had no cell service in my room and I could not get the WiFi to work.

The property has a very good location with private parking !Internet and WiFi was not working at all… bathroom need update and pillows and pillowcases very old and used…. Staff vas accommodative ! We didn’t go for breakfast… A/C was working good despite very hot weather conditions. It’s close to the beach so for one night it was OK.

Bed was comfortable. Ac was cold but there was no constant fan options. Pool was heated but too warm at 90 degrees. Maid knocked on the door at 9 am. TV wasn't working but they fixed it. Ants and bugs in pool area.

Hopefully, my patient and I will return to the event next year, but we will certainly not be staying at the La Quinta. We weren’t even offered anything as a way of saying La Quinta was sorry for such a difficult situation. The family of my patient elects to use another hotel which has staff that is more professional in their responses and management which elects to be transparent with problems and offer a small token of appreciation for staying throughout a difficult time. We almost checked out during the night as it was the entire stay that there was no WiFi and as a result no tv for my patient to distract himself with as I needed to finger stick and then inject insulin every 2-3 hours. Bad…
