Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Long Branch by IHG

There were ants in my room all over my belongings. We had to switch rooms. I believe i still have ants in my luggage. I won’t be going bsck

The ac was broken in our room but they did discount it fterwards.

Stay was good breakfast was good

El lugar estuvo muy bien: limpio, personal amable, desayuno rico, cocina normal. Lo unico que no me gusto fueron sus politica de early check in. Ya que mi esposo y yo necesitabamos early check in asi que una semana antes me comunique con el servicio al cliente donde me atendieron por mensajes un chico llamado Alex, yo le pregunte si aqui ofrecian ese servicio y me dijo que si pero a disponibilidad. Para mi con eso estaba bien porque antes en el Holiday Inn Paris fue la misma situacion, nosotros llegamos de madugada solicitando el early check in y por dicha si tenian disponibilidad, asi que esta vez de igual forma mi esposo y yo esperabamos llegar al hotel a pedir el servicio y ver si habia disponibilidad. Pero para nuestra sorpresa cuando llegamos nos dijo un joven en la recepcion que no nos podian hacer el early check in aun porque no estaba la persona que se encargaba de eso y que el no tenia autorizacion. Siendo asi le pedimos que nos cobrara 1 noche mas (ya teniamos pago 5 noches) con tal de poder alojarnos pero dijo que tampoco podia hacerlo. Para nosotros fue desgastante y frustante que luego de volar tantas horas para llegar ahi en plena madrugada con frio de -4 no nos pudieran ayudar, pero no incistimos y nos fuimos a buscar donde pasar la noche. Al final solo encontramos lugar en un motel de muy mal gusto y al mismo precio que costaban las noches en el Holiday. No entiendo como es que un hotel de esta cadena tan grande no podia hacer reservaciones las 24/7.

We were impressed with the property, the room size, comfortable bed and generous breakfast. The staff was friendly. We were a last minute late night booking and it went smoothly.

Omgosh!!! As soon as we walked into our room, the mold and mildew smell hit us like we ran into a brick wall. It was terrible. It smelled like the rugs had been wet forever. Made us feel nauseated. We complained and were moved to a different room in a matter of minutes. Smell never went completely away but it was only for one night thank goodness. Buildinf was clean, parking lot was well lit. Free breakfast was ok... with sausage, pancakes and small omellettes, not made to order, pre-made. Friendly staff, but I wouldn't recommend.

Overall well maintained and clean. Broken pan cake maker and juice machine. Otherwise a well maintained clean property.

The bedding had hair . The hotel is close to the highway very noisy . The room had a bad smell. Overall the property is well kept and clean .

The hotel was definitely convenient to Long Branch. We did have a few problems with our room. The TV in the living room didn’t work and neither did the shower. I asked Jarret at the front desk if they could move us and before he gave us another room he went to check that everything was working. He was wonderful. The AC wasn’t great. The living room was cold and the bedroom was warm, they did provide us with a fan which did help. We saw that they were changing the AC units but unfortunately not before we left. Even though we had those problems the staff was so helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay if you are visiting the beaches at Sandy Hook. Slept peacefully and room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly. Everything you could possibly need for the beach is located within a two block radius; the local Shop Rite is a super center and if they don’t have it, you don’t need it.

Breakfast was excellent!

Our family of nine enjoyed all the breakfast choices and the helpfulness of the kitchen staff. The pool and exercise room gave us an opportunity to have some indoor activities when the weather wasn’t cooperating. All the staff were very pleasant, competent and pleasant to be around. We have recommended this Holiday Inn to friends and family and will be returning there in the near future.

Amazing.

Our neighbors next-door slammed doors all night was yelling and screaming all night walls or paper thin. I went to sit outside on the bench to make a phone call and there were cigarette butts all over the ground it was disgusting I couldn’t even sit there.

Our tub drain stayed shut so the tub filled while showering. Breakfast was good.
