Convenient location for us. Cool vibe. Nice design. Didn’t get the room I booked. Staff said didn’t really exist. Staff inflexible but pleasant. Neighborhood sketchy at best.
-
Decor, even though the room was small the space was nicely furnished. The entrances landscape was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was just right.

had to request microwave

The location was great and just as expected. A big plus was being able to order food from Cholita, the restaurant next door, straight to the room—perfect after a long flight. The hotel and amenities were very clean. The room was spacious, modern, and well-appointed, with a super comfortable bed and a large, stylish bathroom. The overall vibe was relaxed and the air conditioning worked really well. Service was inconsistent depending on who was at reception. I didn’t receive much information at check-in, while others did. Also, the room wasn’t very soundproof—I could hear hallway conversations and a maintenance door repeatedly slamming shut, which made it hard to sleep in, especially with jet lag.

The room is very tiny, and they only give you a stool not a real chair to sit in

It's a very convenient location, near the entrance to I-10. There are multiple restaurants in the area, including a very nice one, Chulita, just a few doors down. The courtyard is a good-sized area with seating that feels isolated from the neighborhood. The room was clean, quiet, and well-stocked with soap and shower needs. They have their own parking garage, although that was an extra charge.

Loved the gym Controller barely worked and Netflix wasn’t working

Clean and quote boutique. No slippers or toiletries

Super comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean. Well kept and equipped gym with modern equipment. Nice and quiet. It would be nice to have an offering of fruit and/or yoghurt with the breakfast items. Not much of a vibe or personality about the place generally but it is nice and smart.

Locations near family, breakfast is pretty awful, except coffee is good. Parking is a real, pain to get into lot. Noise from room above is huge problem, i was kept up almost 2 hours listening to someone walking around.

Clean, pretty hotel Hidden fees
-
no breakfast but there are about 5 amazing places just down the street like veez or tartine. go out and explore! cindy the front desk manager was the rudest person i've ever experienced in 35 years of hospitality. i hope the owners reprimand her severely for what she did. or simply promote the amazing nancy to be her boss, or just fire her.

Comfortable, trendy vibe, and most importantly I felt comfortable as a solo female traveler.

tipn for oir needs were great.

Beautiful decor/new design throughout. Lovely courtyard. Parking was fairly convenient, though I had not remember that there would be a charge for it, or that they would charge 15$ a day for an obligatory facilities payment. If that's the case, why isn't it incorporated into the room price? Though there's very little in the neighborhood, it's convenient for LAX and for some other parts of the city. The area, and the hotel, are apparently trying to bill themselves as part of a trendy, revived neighborhood. It's not that all revived yet. Bed and pillows were sort of lumpy. Clearly new, but not the best quality. Sort of pseudo luxurious. The breakfast, which is covered by a required extra $15 per day facilities charge, was quite disappointing: instant oatmeal that was a sugar bomb, with hot water not hot enough to cook it; not very good donuts. That's it! And it was completely self serve. I'd rather not be charged that fee and go elsewhere. Honestly, I'd not expected it, and we only tried because we were charged that fee. Staff was courteous but not that all friendly. Seemed a bit overpriced overall for what we got, and I'm sure that it's design and newness has contributed to somewhat inflated ratings.

No vending machines

Didn’t look like much from the outside but once you went into courtyard and the building itself, it was nice and modern. The $30 dollar fee to park in parking garage. Pretty steep.
-
Parking garage was underground with a gate (come and go privileges).
-
Chic, beautiful interiors. So comfortable.
-
Free parking nearby. Two bath towels wasn’t quite enough. Probably nice to have a car if you’re based here.
