Such cute decor, it felt safe and secure inside the property too. Staff were so helpful and really friendly, especially the cutest little chihuahua behind the front desk! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting hollywood. I loved the property! The area can feel a bit uneasy towards the evening time so we would recommend getting ubers or driving to/from.

Big rooms and nice staff AC is very loud and I did not turn it on

It was my first time in America, and I was quite surprised by the friendliness, the harmonious hospitality, the service, and how close to everything it was. The hostess/owner was an amazing person with super enthusiastic energy. It was an excellent experience. I'll definitely be back. Thanks beautiful blonde Diva!

Location is great, near metro and bus.

Booked online around 4pm. Got there not long after. There was literally no TV in the room just the cord hanging out. I rang the front reception and he said he had no idea what going on, no one had mentioned it. Said up in 15 minutes to deal with. No one came. I rang again almost an hour later and the same reception guy basically handed the phone to another employee I believe the Manager. She blamed Booking.com but after a lengthy conversation it came out that she had left the premises at 2pm Friday arvo knowing the TV wasn't in the room and obviously done nothing about not making the room available for renting it. They had no other room and no spare TV, no discount for no TV and basically saying not their problem as booked via a third party. Said they would move us to different room next day (2 night booking) as they said thry need a tv technician to unplug a TV from the spare room and plug it into our room the next morning . The whole point of booking 2 nights was to secure our belongings for the day while we went sightseeing in Hollywood. Anyways no new room available until the cleaners had been through and since our room shouldn't have been rented out in the first place, we thought we could swap rooms that night when we got back. No, we were called to come back around midway through day to swap rooms as the cleaners needed to clean our room RIGHT THEN on a Saturday. I hope they didn't rent the room out again but I suspect that was exactly what was going to happen again. The weekend staff member very apologetic and only following instructions, he offered to help carry our bags for us as he felt bad about the situation. Nice guy. Very unimpressed with the Friday staff/Manager. Cleanliness wise, I had white socks on and within 1 hour of me moving around the room my socks were filthy. Hadn't seen a mop for a long long time.

great location, very helpful motel staff, several restaurants nearby and, most importantly, a metro station

The location of the hotel was great. The staff was helpful and it was very clean The bed was really uncomfortable. The coffee machine and lamps didnt work the first night. The staff fixed it the next day. The parking was additional 10$ keep it in mind. The furniture was old but worked ok for 3 day stay.

It’s a clean motel with a lot of character and great value. The location was ideal for my needs; close to the Hollywood/Western Metro station and close to my destination for this trip— a friend’s house in Hollywood Hills near Griffith Observatory. I arrived about an hour before the 3 pm check-in time and found reception was locked with no one there. They really mean it about check-in starting at 3 pm.

Easy check-in and good location. The room was quite even though the area was noisy. The security of the facility was very good. Enjoyed the stay very much. The window coverings allowed come light to come into the room. The water pressure was a little low.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the location was close to Hollywood walk of fame The shower wasn't the best just stuck on the wall and you could barely move it.

Super comfortable bed. Big room with kitchen facilities. Pool. Bright and airy. Nothing bad really.

Nice retro feel. Room was sagging. We had to sleep with our heads at the foot end of the bed.

It's in such a fantastic location as far as getting to public transport and buying food, etc. The rooms are really clean and the staff are so nice! The shower pressure isn't great but still good enough. You also don't really want to go off the main roads as there are a lot of homeless people that aren't all there (if you know what I mean). If it weren't for those things, I'd have rated 10.

Great location! Decent pool also. The security deposit is a joke. We had British credit cards so we're informed that the money would take 30 days to return to account- as yet, it still hasn't arrived. Not good enough.
