The hotel is beautiful, clean, well maintained, and in a perfect location. These guys set the bar for our first trip to LA and we couldn't have had a better experience. 10/10.

Amazing place! I can’t wait to go back

Cara Hotel was a genuinely pleasant surprise, and I would absolutely stay here again. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a complete getaway, the kind of place where the city noise just melts away. The whole hotel is built around a peaceful central courtyard with a calm reflecting pool, shaded by olive trees. It has a warm, earthy, minimalist style, with soft neutral tones, natural textures, and lots of greenery. It feels more like staying at a stylish friend's California home than a typical hotel. Our room was just as calming, with light wood floors, crisp, soft linens, and a beautiful stone bathroom. It was simple and uncluttered but still felt luxurious in all the little details. The metro station is just steps away, and it's only two stops to Hollywood/Highland, which made getting to our show at the Hollywood Bowl incredibly easy. Being able to skip the traffic and parking made the whole night so much more relaxing, and coming back to the quiet courtyard afterward was the perfect way to end the evening. If you want a stay in Hollywood that feels tucked away and restorative but still close to everything, Cara is it. Highly recommend!

I had saved this hotel for the longest and booked the room with courtyard view, when we arrived we got the corner room no courtyard view, sadly. Was a night stay so whatever. The guy that welcomed us was helpful and nice enough to send us recommendations.

Loved the room, loved the staff You can sort of hear the restaurant from the rooms, but noise cancelling is pretty good

I really really wanted to be able to recommend this cute looking boutique hotel to friends visiting the LA area but I will likely not be doing that in the future.

This is probably our 5th visit to the Cara Hotel as it is close to family. Every time we check in, we feel very welcome and are well looked after by the staff. This time I was on crutches, and the front desk staff (Matson?) was exceptionally kind and helpful, happily carrying multiple bags to our room, and he made sure that everything was set up to accommodate my needs. The valets are also very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is so special at this hotel. The rooms aren't huge, but they are well appointed with very comfortable mattresses, bed linens, and pillows. The showers have fantastic-smelling body washes, conditioner, and shampoo. I highly recommend the Cara Hotel

This was my fourth stay at the Cara and I've had a great experience each time. The rooms are beautiful, staff is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are really lovely.

Great place to stay for visiting Griffith Park and attending a concert at the Greek. Location was great and brunch at the restaurant was delicious. Would stay here again.
