The Onyx Hotel Hollywood

The rooms are lovely with amazing views of the Griffith observatory. Tanveer & Andy are so helpful and went out of their way to accommodate me.. I booked a few more nights and they upgraded my room. The hotel is just minutes away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and from the griffith park hiking trails and observatory! The parking is free which is awesome. They have a coffee maker, microwave and fridge in each room. Excellent value for a good price. I highly recommend.

Another perk is there is a Target, Marshall’s, Ross, Walgreen nearby. Taco trucks, food vendors there so no need to drive far. All within walking distance. Area is not the best but hey it’s LA unless you’re willing to pay $400 plus a night. It was good for the budget!

Awful location! Old outdated building. We checked out day early. This should not be part of the engine network. I trusted the engine system, big mistake!

I spend 90% of my time in Los Angeles, and am very familiar with Hotels. Until Saturday Night when I made a booking “The Onyx” location, description, and price was worth a try. The Property, Staff, Rooms, and Price are all absolutely fantastic. Whether you’re a local or coming to Hollywood as a tourist; I would without hesitation recommend this Property as the Place to Stay.

Location was good Breakfast was hopeless . Rooms was extremely small.

Comfortable, clean Staff at front desk is rude when I checked in. I was exhausted after driving for 6 hours, I only had 2 simple question and he Is very rude to respond and talking too much like angry, irritable and assuming response. You need to learn good customer service.

Kind and professional. Great for what you pay. They even serve breakfast between 7 and 9:00am Clean, comfortable and is close to transportation!

The property was very dirty and the room had ticks and bedbugs The hotel had bedbugs and ticks. I woke up with a bunch of bites all over

Breakfast was very basic. Only bread and prepackaged danishes, apple and orange juice. Parking is at the side of the building, cannot see car from room.
