La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Louisville NE/Old Henry Rd

First of all they gave us a handicap room and I’m not handicapped and we got to the hotel at 12;45 and had just traveled 15 hrs. Wanted to get some sleep before another long trip the next day I got a late check out for noon and we got woken up at 8 am by the fire alarm going off 2 times the second time fore like 5 mins. Then we proceeded to go get breakfast and there was no coffee left and the breakfast looked like it had been sitting for hours and was all dried out and over cooked there was no hash browns and the yogurt was warm right out the fridge. The bread was stale and the butter was frozen the front desk people didn’t check if the food needed any attention the whole time I was not impressed with with any of it the ice machine was broken and I want offered any compensation for all the problems there was after I explained to front desk all I got was sorry that happened will not be recommending them in the future

The breakfast was “ok”. Nothing special but doable.

The first room I was in smelled really bad. Like cat pee. It was late and I was tired so I stayed there the first night. I had a terrible headache the next day. I called and arranged to change to another room which was much better.

The staff is amazing and the rooms are very nice My personal opinion, I don’t feel the breakfast. Is that good? Also, my room had the worst water. You could possibly have no pressure at all.

Everything went pretty amazing for the price, the only odd thing is that the restrooms don’t have the lid and I’m very peculiar about flush it the toilet with the lid up (in this non existent), but besides that minor detail everything was really good

Guy at front desk was cool. Absolutely no water pressure in the shower, the pillows for the bed were couch throw pillows, someone sounded the fire alarm in the middle of the night and there was absolutely nothing happening.

Comfortable stay, bed was amazing and the location was very quiet. One of the largest rooms we stayed in by far.

Convenient location, quiet, comfortable and clean. Would stay again.

Nobody at the front desk. Waited 30+ min to get checked in. Get to the room, room was ok but hot. Set the thermostat to low and went to dinner. Came back, it was cooler but not like it should have been. Went down to see if I could switch rooms. Nobody there. Again. Went back up to the room, fell asleep, woke up at 12:30 to fire alarm. Finally got back into the room about an hour later. Went to sleep about 2. Woke up at 3 by really loud bang, then for about 3-4 minutes sounded like someone upstairs throwing furniture around. Finally stopped just as I was calling the front desk (even though there probably wasn’t anyone there). Went back to sleep, woke up about 6:30 went to lobby to get coffee and the whole lobby is roped off with crime scene tape. Blood all over the floor. 6 cops sitting at a table talking. I’m thinking to myself that’s what the ruckus was that woke me up at 3. Someone getting killed. Didn’t ask. Didn’t want to know. Not going back.

Walking in front door the lobby smelled of sewer. The first room we had smelled like fresh vomit mixed with cottage cheese. The second room we got didn’t have the odor but the floor was nasty. Between the beds there was dirt pieces.

Room was clean and comfy with some pillows that actually work for stomach sleepers (small, squishy). Appreciated the quiet! GPS gave us a circuitous route from the north but we made it!

The location The smell the whole bottom floor smelled like mold really bad made me nauseous. The staff wasn’t all that nice they tried to charge me four different times even though I paid through booking.com and I still have not got all my money back

We had a great stay here, for both the humans and the pups. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also great location with many resturants nearby.

Exceptional

Pet friendly. Reasonable pet fee of $25. Staff accommodated my request for a room on a different floor. Convenient location from I-65 freeway. Good breakfast. Very clean room and common areas. Lighting in room was unpleasant. The light fixtures next to bed are too harsh lighting for room. Would be better to have fixtures with shade. Had to ask desk clerk where the button to turn on lights by bed was located. Clerk said it is a common question. Ice machine on 1st floor empty. Desk clerk advised another ice machine on 3rd floor. Had to walk around to find where it was on 3rd floor because not in same place as 1st floor. Need more signage on ice machine locations.

Room was very clean, wasn't told the bar was closed until check in, the shower door kept coming off track. Other wise was a enjoyable stay.. would stay again.

The pool was inside but not heated so when we tried to use it, it was cold.

Bathroom toilet seat had urine drops on it Had trouble with the TV remote and called for help, but no one came. Beds were very comfortable. Towels were clean. Breakfast area was very clean and well kept.

Call ahead if checking in late. Great location for a stopover.

The hotel was clean. I didn’t like the fact that we had to go down to the lobby to take our dirty towels and then get clean towels instead of the towels being placed in the room each day.
