Positives: friendly and responsive staff, convenient location. Negatives: terrible smell in room, very musty and damp, almost couldn't believe how bad the smell was. The other real negative is that they have cut back on what's included in breakfast. No eggs, no sausage, no yogurt, not even any peanut butter packets for the toast.

This was a good place for a stay on our way to Rapid City. Really cool bar right down the road with great Buffalo burgers.

The pool was cold and disgusting. The broken hot tub was filthy with dirt/dust, dead flies and some sort of brown colored something that we couldn't determine what it was. When the 4 of us crawled in our bed at night we all had the same sensation...damp sheets, it was really weird. The water container by the front desk had mold on the outside of it. The kids wouldn't even stay to eat their continental breakfast which entailed a waffle maker, bread for toast, dry boxed cereal and not much else. About the only good thing was the air conditioning in the room. It worked great. Super fun town. Incredible/awesome brewery and a superior walking path in and through town. Loved the town. Disappointed by the hotel.

Helpful staff

Old property. Peeling wallpaper, water smelled like a sewer. I was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast was poor, the hot tub didn't work, the pool was cold. The room was clean.

Hot tub and pool broken

Clean enough for a quick stop

Conveniently located off the highway. Very friendly staff. Clean. Given a ground floor room. The carpet needs replaced I think. It felt damp and room had a slight musty smell so had to keep sandals on. We were on ground floor.

The sink and tub drains were terrible every time we used the sink or shower standing water did not drain properly and the indoor pool was so cold a penguin would have froze to death

I would not stay here again. As soon as I walked into my room, I was hit with a strong moldy, musty smell. The carpet was soaking wet, and even the towels in the room were wet. The room felt damp, and the conditions made me start coughing and dry heaving. I did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. I immediately went to the front desk, and the employee acknowledged that the carpet and towels were wet. Despite that, the hotel refused to refund my money. Because I couldn’t stay in the room and couldn’t afford another hotel at the last minute, I had to drive approximately 2½ hours back home. I booked through Expedia and have since had to dispute the charge with my bank because I paid for a room that I was unable to use due to its condition. I understand budget hotels aren’t luxury accommodations, but guests should at least receive a clean, dry, and habitable room. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying here.

Breakfast was small, just a few items. Stayed there a couple years ago, and they have biscuits and gravy and many other things. The pool was cold, too cold to swim in. Hot tub has been under repair for over 3 years... Still not operational.

A most courteous staff and pleasant. Comfortable lodging and convenient accessibility.

It was worth the money, breakfast was a nice touch.

Great place to stay for the price. Stayed there for a week while my daughter attended school. One of her Clinical sites for the Nightengale Nursing program. I recommend this hotel for students. The school was about 20 minutes away. Very easy to get to the clinical site. One road took us almost to the clinical site. The staff were very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking. 24 hour store next door that sells a variety of food. There is a gas station in the same location. We picked up Subway sandwiches for her lunch. The Subway was walking distance. There is a restaurant called Howling Dog, I think that’s the name, great food for dinner. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool. Good value for the price.

The motel was fine although the jacuzzi was not available which was disappointing. It was in a great location and easy walk for dinner.

We did not stay
-
Did not really like anything about the facility and will not stay ever again They don’t speak English, and they should and the television set wouldn’t work and had to be fixed, not only in the evening, but also the next morning and the bathrooms towels were all stained, and the toilet was broke. Did not even stay for breakfast cause it all looked dirty.
