La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Macedonia

My wife and I used to Manage a motel years ago so we are subjective I guess. All in all La Quinta was a nice place, we’ve stayed here many times at this particular hotel and are fine with what we see. Yes it’s not perfect but the rooms were clean and bathrooms were also. Breakfast in morning had the usual fare which was also fine and the ladies were always making sure it was stocked. We will stay here again in the future.

Good location. Excellent staff. 4th floor hallway needs shampooed real bad. Looks ugly. Our room mattress top needs reset. Big bumps. Food Ok but a little disappointing.

Everything was what I expected

Nothing at all Pool was dirty and molded around the ring of the hot tub. The bedroom was full of pet hair. The hallways smelled like cigarettes. Thick dirt on the ceiling and ceiling fan. Awful mildew smell throughout the entire hotel.

Good place for last minute reservations

Didn't have any horror stories with bugs or super dirty sheets like other reviews. Funky/smoky smells in the lobby and hallways but the room itself was clean and felt good. Breakfast was just ok.

The property smelt bad in the lobby and in the hallways. The room was dirty and had bugs on the floor. The breakfast had fruit flies everywhere

This is a nice hotel and our 2nd stay here with elevator which is important to us. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast with a number of options close to Cleveland on our way through.

The shower was a nightmare to use. I don't know who it was made for. The pool area was not clean. There were children in diapers in the hot tub, and a yellowish-grey foam pile anytime the jets were on. There were people partying in the pool area and in the parking lot until 4:30 am. It was a non-smoking hotel, but hallways smelled like blunt smoke. The room was fine, but thats about it.

The room smelled musty. The hallway carpet was filthy. Nothing has been maintained. It did not feel like a safe place to stay. Would not recommend.
