La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Macedonia

Was not happy with was offered for breakfast. Breakfast was not very appealing. Fake eggs, NO MEAT. Not a very big selection to choose from. We ended up going to Bob Evens for breakfast. Being the name I guess I was expecting better.

Neat and tidy staff was very friendly and it’s close to many amenities

The common areas were dirty and poorly maintained. There was visible mold in the bathrooms, and the overall property felt very outdated and in need of significant renovations and better upkeep.

Nice salt water pool! Jacuzzi had too much chlorine.

I slept through it. Nothing

Nothing Dirty. We left and did not stay. The place was a dump. The furniture was falling apart, gross handprints on the walls, shredded carpets, holes in the walls and blood on the comforter.

The only complaint that I would have is the 1/2 inch of dust on the ceiling fan and all the dust around it on the ceiling.

Property is neglected. Entrance-which is your first impression needs daily clean up of trash and cigarette butts not to mention just plain dirty. Needs a major pressure washing! Hallways and rooms need a bit more cleaning and maintenance attention. Room and beds were ok but nothing special.

Location We just traveled to WY from MA for 4 weeks. This was our first hotel of MANY. It was so dirty I didn’t want to stay. The carpets in the hallways were so disgusting, we wouldn’t put anything down to open the door. The carpets in the room were not much better. Trash was overflowing the trash receptacles as you entered the building. The side door was propped open, so we shut it. Only to find it didn’t lock. The area for breakfast was such a mess. The tables were filthy and the counters were covered with food, used utensils, and napkins. We were charged $100 for incidentals (only charged at one other Wyndham property). I was told it would be credited back to my account in 7-10 business days. That never happened. I didn’t want to stay at another Wyndham property after that. However, I did give it another try, and thankfully the rest were better. I try to find the silver lining in all cases, however, there wasn’t any silver linings for this review.

The desk clerk was very accommodating. The first room assigned had a strong odor of cat urine, and the clerk readily moved me to another room. Overall the facility had a rundown, unclean appearance. The hall carpet was stained. The breakfast space was small and cramped. I did not eat breakfast there.

Convenient location. The pool was nice. Nice breakfast bar. The hallway carpets need cleaning or replacing. The beds were broken down and need replacing.

Location. Our air conditioner was leaking on the carpeting and they wouldn’t let us change rooms. The shampoo and conditioner holders were empty when I got in the shower. Our window on the 4th floor was broken and would not close all the way. Just a property that looks like it could use some maintenance!

Quite place to stay. The carpets in the hallways are very dirty. The elevator was dirty. Overall it needs a good cleaning. Breakfast was decent but they have wheat products in the same heating tray as the gluten free food. Cross contamination is possible. Maintenance man walked into the room without knocking.

Pros: 1) Very close to the Cuyahoga NP. < 10 min from one of the falls in the NP. 2) Multiple eating options immediately around the hotel and within 10 min drive. 3) Free hot breakfast - decent egg omlette, bread and bagels, diy waffles, coffee and juices + yogurt 4) Cheap Cons: 1) Dirty carpet everywhere. Now I know, travelers don't spend a lot of time on the carpet except for a few minutes to walk towards their rooms however still the absolute filthy state of the carpet makes you want to avoid looking down. 2) Smelly room. The interior of the room felt damp/smelly. The request to change the room was declined even though it was a non-busy weekday. 3) Pool area was equally unclean. Didn't feel like stepping in. All in all, select this hotel strictly for the national park closeness, and if you are okay with the cons mentioned above.
