Mission Point Resort

Absolutely beautiful property! The staff was top tier on their customer service. Rooms were clean, and well stocked with everything. The property was maintained and groomed in every corner I was able to see. Highly recommend!

The grounds are great and the food was very good. That being said staying in the straight Lodge portion of the hotel the carpet needs to be replaced in the hallways. It's starting to roll up in spots and looks tired. Some areas could use a little touch up painting as well. The room itself was very nice but the ac was way to loud. It had high speed but couldn't get it into a lower speed for some reason. That being said it is one of the very few hotels that allows dogs on premises which is very helpful. The staff is excellent.

Mission Point is a beautifully maintained facility. Located just far enough from the hustle of the Main Street to give you peace and quiet.

Mission Point Resort is an excellent place to vacation with your pet dog! We’d choose this place again for future visits!

Property was very clean. Staff was very helpful. It was a good time.

What I didn’t like was that my husband found out that you could purchase $100 gift certificate to use at the resort for $80 right after we checked in and we called straight down to the Front Desk about it and they would not honor it. Even though they had not offered it to us at the time of check-in. I thought that was pretty unfair.

Loved this resort; walking distance to the ferry and downtown. Bike rentals on the property. No problem getting a table in the restaurant. Was not a fan for breakfast but loved the dinner. I would suggest a server for the pool area, feel they are missing out on revenue and guests miss convenience. Beds were very comfortable, doors creek but it’s an older resort so not a deal breaker. I would stay here again.

This was a great place. Clean and comfortable rooms, lots of places to relax. Helpful staff, and good selections in the restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Great pool and decent gym. The bathroom could use an update as the tiles were in rough shape and the tub was not draining well. Location was amazing and we loved the mini golf across the street

Minor complaint is that the hotel did not proactively provide us with information on offers ahead of time, at least when purchased through Expedia. First, they had free luggage delivery from the ferry to the hotel, but we hadn't been informed about it in time to take advantage of it so schlepped our luggage ourselves and it is a pretty good walk from the ferry terminal. Second, they offer $100 dining vouchers for $80, effectively providing a 20% discount on their several excellent dining options. Problem was, you have to buy these before or at check-in, yet again we weren't informed. When I read about it on their website as I was deciding which dining option to use for dinner, I was disappointed that they hadn't informed me at check-in. I went back to the check-in counter and talked to the same agent that had checked me in and she let me buy the vouchers. So, my primary suggestion is to more proactively let customers know of these opportunities, and to do so well in advance of the visit, in case email access is limited.

Loved it all! Wished the hot tubs were bigger as they were PACKED.

We loved that Mission Point Resort was not directly in the chaos of town (we travelled to Mackinac Island in mid-July; peak season). By the time we booked our room, only standard availability. This room was nice and clean, - basic. I would definitely stay with Mission Point Resort again!
