Baymont by Wyndham Macon I-75

I liked that the room was very clean but can use some upgrades to the bathroom and ceiling

Plenty of parking and my kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was polite and helpful. Our room (one king bed) had a TV (but we couldn't locate the remote), a microwave and a small fridge. The room overall had a smell that we could not identify and the use of artificial air fresheners in the lobby was overwhelming. There were also fruit flies or gnats all over the breakfast area. We did not eat the continental breakfast offered, but that was one of the features that helped me decide to book a room there.

The room we booked a month in advance wasn’t available to us when we arrived and we were out into a smaller room that didn’t accommodate our family and the room was dirty. The smoke detector was detached and sitting beside the tv on the counter as well.

Breakfast was ok (cereal, waffle maker, coffee, bagels). Room was satisfactory and basic. It appears as if this location has several long term residents (no judgement - just stating facts) which do affect the perception of the hotel.

Good option for 1 night staying

The pool did not open until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. The kids wanted to swim!

The location. It was a trashy room holes in the walls and baseboards.

They had a pool. 1st room had torn furniture and a dirty looking bedspread. We asked to be moved. We were accommodated with a room where the remote to the TV did not work (the battery compartment had tape holding the batteries in. The towels were stained. Very disappointing experience.

I will never believe a picture again on an ad again. Baymont was a dreadful place. I had paid, but was charged $35 per night for my dog who never hurt anything!

The front desk person was nice The room smelled strongly of smoke. I ended up not staying because I didn’t want to take my suitcase in and have my clothes all smell like smoke. Even though the booking listing showed it as not refundable I decided to go to a different hotel. The front desk man said they may be able to refund my payment so I hope they do so I don’t have charges from 2 hotels for this night. The entry door showed evidence that someone had damaged the door jamb by the lock seemingly trying to pry it open.

The room wasn’t clean at all could not use the shower because of how filthy it was there was guest smoking weed 2 doors down from us at 6 am and again at 4pm at 11 all you heard was loud music and people yelling we did not sleep at all and left for an early check out ! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

A few roaches came out during my stay, Loud talking, music, cursing and alot of strong weed smoking, the smell in your room was as if you were smoking with them.
