avid hotel Macon North by IHG

What a unique design to hotel rooms. A small room that is so smartly designed it fits a lot! Nice quick breakfast. Best of all the staff is so nice!! Just wonderful people. Will stay there again.

Heavy cleaning odor in the room - and mold in the shower.

I loved this property, staff, and the bed was fantastic.

No microwave in my room

Very nice stay. The hotel is modern and very clean. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection and the coffee was great.

Employees are amazing second time staying there

Good

Wonderful stay! Very convenient to nearby attractions!

Water Wasn’t Hot at all to take a shower

Loved it the staff was super friendly the hotel was super clean, will definitely stay there again

one that that was off putting - a tip jar out for breakfast ; i don’t remember seeing it before. + the feeling like my 5 + 8yo petite daughters were eating too much. but maybe i misread the situation. we will return regardless

I thought this property was a great value. We needed a place to stay while traveling for just one night and the hotel was perfect. It was clean, people were friendly. The breakfast is pretty basic, but I thought it was good. The rooms were clean. No, this is not a luxury hotel. If you are looking for a clean, safe, friendly hotel and you are okay with things being basic, then it's perfect. I thought the room was adequate. The bed was slept very well. I think it was the best surprise of my whole trip.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Avid. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff very friendly and professional.

!!

The building was new and clean. Room size was barely OK. Bathroom was nice. Individually and fresh coffee 24/7. Cons: Breakfast ends at 9:30AM. Too early for weekends. Orange juice at breakfast was too watered-down. Perhaps machine needs fine adjustment. Bed was too noisy, I mean springs in the bed was making so much noise. Room needs one more chair. One is not enough. A/C had bad smell coming out of, when running.

Great time staying there nice clean room

Love it

clean

The lobby had no air conditioning or fan blowing to circulate air. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was excellent! But with no air we did not linger as long as we like to. The walk-in shower was nice, but the bottom was very slick. Being seniors, we needed grab bars to hold to keep from sliding. Also, housekeeping did not empty trash and did not supply enough towels/washcloths. We had to ask for them. But, the hotel was very good accommodations.

Quiet, comfortable bed, great blackout curtains, friendly and helpful front desk staff.
