La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Macon

I HATED THIS PLACE THEY HAVE ROACHES!!! I HAVE PICTURES

Normally love this place but this time we didn't get towels until about 6 pm that evening, and there was a staff member in the workout room trying to pick up some 14 year old girls staying at the hotel. Then the breakfast area was a huge mess when we tried to eat. Just terrible what he was trying with the kids when I walked in and ran him off.

Customer service was at an all time low. Asked for clean sheets and was told they are only cleaned every two days. The breakfast was old and cold. The coffee tasted like dirty water. The hallway was extremely hot, no A/C. The rooms had a stale Oder..just not a good experience at all.

We ended up having to leave. as soon as we checked in we had to check out because there were live roaches in the rooms. We called Expedia to get our full refunds back for this inconvenience. Awful.

Great hotel

The hotel was horrible . I feel it was unfit for human and animals to stay their. The Health Department and Code Enforcement need to pay a visit ASAP

It was okay for the price and only staying one night. It could have been cleaner but otherwise it was fine

Breakfast bar not attended to. Ran out of several things, very messy. Main elevator broken the entire time we were there for our stay. Low to no air-conditioning in the halls and the lobby area. Really filthy doors throughout the facility. Lots of bleach stains on the hall carpets. Funny smells everywhere, often smelled like pot. I expect more from a La Quinta hotel and have seen far far better. Won’t be staying here again.

The towels in our room were stained and had holes in them, looking more like old shop rags than hotel towels. The room phone did not work, so I had to walk to the front desk to ask about a rollaway bed. Our reservation clearly indicated 2 adults and 3 children, yet the room did not have a couch, pullout bed, or any other sleeping arrangement for a fifth guest. We were told a rollaway bed would cost an additional $35, and the front desk even suggested that sleeping on the floor might be an option. After waiting about 30 minutes for the rollaway bed to be delivered, it arrived without pillows, requiring another trip and additional wait time. Overall, this was a disappointing start to our family vacation, and I would not recommend this location.

The pool was a plus. The breakfast isn’t that great. Had a waffle the first morning that was a nasty taste. Ate one 7 days later that was better. They do keep you in clean towels and trash bags for the most part. The rooms aren’t very soundproof. But the room was pleasant. Overall a pretty good stay.
