Holiday Inn Macon North by IHG

Food was not good. Outbid a lot of things. Many things were broken.

Hotel smelled of mold. I had to switch rooms because of it. The key cards never worked!!!!

There weren’t any positive experiences. I’ve stayed here before and hadn’t had issues. The king suite A/C unit for the bedroom did not work. Temperature did not go below 75 degrees. Strong mildew/mold smell throughout the room. Wife had to use an emergency inhaler due to difficulty breathing in the room. There was mold growing in the shower. The towels smelled like urine. There were cigarette butts under the sleeper sofa that my toddler found. Breakfast was 15 minutes late and the staff acting offended that my family showed up after the scheduled start time. Nothing was ready when they did open. I still have not been contacted by the property after telling this to the checkout employee who stated the manager will be in contact. And the only way too cool the bedroom down was to keep the door wide open to the living room which defeated the purpose of why I booked that room.

The information when booking clearly states that breakfast is provided by the hotel. Every IHG we stay at offers this, so I passed on some less expensive options to stay somewhere familiar. It was $15 each to eat. Not listed anywhere when I booked!

Counter staff was very difficult to understand with a low voice and pronounced foreign accent. The ac was leaking on the interior carpet. I would have asked to switch rooms but I didnt discover this until closing the drapes to go to bed.

Could not adjust the thermostat,Shower was awful

Very warm public areas. I t was a warm day but almost like the air conditioning was not working.

The amount of dead bugs int hr lobby, ice machine rooms, and the elevator, and the toilet in one of our rooms was making a loud sound throughout the three days we stayed and the staff was inattentive.

No one cleaned my room, I ran out of toilet paper, showerhead was broken in my room.

Toilet may as well have been a sit and spin, shower floods bathroom, bathroom door not plumb hotel staff not welcoming or hospitalble at all. Pathetic Holiday Inn .

I didn't like all those extra fee's & the when I asked the front desk lady with the long red/blonde hair all i received was attitude.

I like the location for the event & the food was delicious I like the young man that came to the room & picked up towels, very professional. The cooks & servers were perfect I didn't like all those extra fee's & the when I asked the front desk lady with the long red/blonde hair all i received was attitude.

Not the usual Holiday Inn experience.

The staff was friendly and there are groceries and restaurants within walking distance.
