Comfort Inn & Suites Macon West

The hotel overall for just passing through for a few nights overall was good. The breakfast was good. Staff was good!

Our room had a very high humidity, from the carpet to linens were damp and musty. Breakfast was not the usual quality.

Checked into a room, it was situated with a refrigerated semi truck running all night under the window. I called the desk and they said there is nothing they can do, not even offered a change of rooms. Said she would call someone. About an hour later no answer so I decided to vacate. She was having diner. Nothing had been done, I told her I am leaving and expect a refund. I was in lobby using wifi and booked another place nearby. At that point she was on phone and said I will get a refund. Now over a month later no refund. How come if I make noise in my room after a certain hour they tell me, but they let a guest with a truck and refrigeration run all night? Avoid at all costs, they don't care once they have taken your money.

The hotel is mostly clean although it could use some deep cleaning and carpet cleaners. The beds are comfortable and clean. The pool is indoors so that's good during the summer to keep the water cooler and more refreshing. I give it 4.25 stars overall. No it's not a cheap motel but also not a 4 or 5 star hotel. You'll be comfortable for a night or couple.

Room was clean. We were on the top floor. There was definite signs of water damage in the ceiling. I can’t say it was mold, I did not get close enough, but we were there for just one night, so I was not too concerned.

They ran out of most breakfast items including coffee before breakfast was over and started to clean it up early. The breakfast staff member was on her cell phone so I was unable to ask her for anything. I won’t stay there again

Our stay was overall okay, and the hotel met our basic needs. However, we were disappointed to find that one of the beds had stained sheets and there was hair underneath some of the covers. Cleanliness is very important, and this made us question whether the bedding had been changed properly. The staff was pleasant, but we hope the hotel pays closer attention to housekeeping and cleanliness moving forward.

On our first stay there were no problems, staff was wonderful, good value for the rooms. However on our return trip we encountered bedbugs, night clerk said he couldn't issue refund as it was booked through Hotels.com, we had to pack and quickly leave late at night after only checking in an hour or two previously. Staff member Raj, took pictures and will report to manager.

Front desk receptionist was very nice and helpful, she checked me in manually due to the fact that my reservation through Booking.com didn't go through. The hallways and the my bathroom areas had a tart smell, and I seen a few strings of hair in the shower and around the toilet.

The spa tub was awesome!! The original sheets didn't fit the bed, but the staff came right away and corrected it.

Nice quick stop over, clean and comfortable, indoor looked nice but we didn’t use, breakfast could have had more options but still nice.

Parking was plentiful, room was clean, and breakfast was adequate.

Staff was particularly helpful at check-in. I had left my wallet at a restaurant 3hours away making photo ID impossible. Staff understood the predicament and came up with an alternative sign-in solution that accommodated my situation but fulfilled his corporate security requirements. I am so grateful. The accommodations were exactly what one would hope for when traveling.

What we loved most about this hotel was the indoor pool and hot tub. Didn’t have to worry about the kids getting burnt in the sun 🙌 very clean facilities and room was spacious, we went with the suite to give little ones room to play inside the room

Great for a couples overnight stay while traveling.
