Red Roof Inn Plus Huntsville - Madison

Our room was clean, but smelled pretty musty and there was what looked like mold on the ceiling. But we had what we needed, the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water, and the a/c kept the room nice and cold. We had put 3 people on our reservation, but were only given 2 towels (the front desk happily gave me 2 more when I asked). We were bummed that pool was closed. The breakfast options didn’t look great (pretty scarce when my husband peaked in the evening before), but we didn’t eat breakfast there, so we don’t actually know. It was quiet and a good deal, close to the baseball field (why we were there) and worked fine for what we needed. With a little updating (and an open pool), I would be happy to stay here again. Otherwise, I might look for somewhere a little nicer.

The rooms are OK but the building is looking a bit rundown. The front desk greeting is rather cold. Is this hotel in a dangerous area? The lobby certainly gives off that vibe.

money didn’t transfer from Expedia correctly so staff wouldn’t let me stay. They wanted me to manage the problem even though I had already been charged the money. Room smelled of cigarettes horribly

Usually enjoy staying here because it is safe, clean & convenient l, but last trip the staff was not very friendly, seemed like they pulled the garbage out of containers but set them down instead of taking them to dumpster....and it was stilk there in the morning, with some strewn down the stairs. I am on the fence as to whether I would stay there again. Perhaps my last experience was a fluke.

Clean room not a lot for breakfast but still good. Parking was good.

The parking was sketchy at night, breakfast was stale cereal and the staff was busy lounging around in the chairs

This hotel is a MUST stay! So clean, very quiet,and the absolute friendliest staff! I was closer to another Red Roof Inn but after my last stay here..i drove the extra 20 min to stay again in Madison. What a tremendous property and room and you cannot beat the price!! Thank you again Madison Red Roof Inn Plus!! We will be back! Best staff EVER!! Also, what a delicious waffle breakfast this morning!
