Ramada by Wyndham Maggie Valley

Balcony setting was nice overlooking the River, but balcony was dirty (muddy footprints), webs in upper corners, small table between rocking chairs was covered in mildew. I reported this to front desk clerk who really brushed me off and no offer or effort was made to clean it. Disappointed not to be able to sit out there. Also, listing stated “free Wi-Fi” but turns out it is only free if you are a Wyndham member which I am not. Otherwise it is necessary to pay for Wi-Fi which I did not. The room was clean, bed comfortable and shower was really good. Breakfast was satisfactory.

Clean room and helpful staff. However, if I knew there weren’t elevators, I would’ve chosen a different location due to my mother’s mobility.

Stayed in the King room-creek view. It was clean, a little dated. You can sit in your rocking chairs on the covered balcony while the river is only a few feet away. THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS! Only 2 floors though, so not an issue if you are healthy enough to carry your luggage up a couple flights of stairs. Only 20ish minutes from Harrah’s.

Stayed at Ramada in Maggie Valley and will stay with them again when in town. Convenient location, clean, friendly and helpful staff and guests.

Room was nice size. Towels were plentiful. Would have been nice to have an extra blanket. Breakfast was very good. Nice selection of foods. Good location to the Hillbilly Jam! Wifi was not good. Too much to log in. Have never had to go through so much to access wifi. Everything else was fine.

Our family has been there twice. We like the stay. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. It’s close to all the shopping and restaurants.

It was very quiet and pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ramada Inn in Maggie Valley! Our room was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the balcony and enjoying the peaceful view and sound of the creek. Breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Maggie Valley area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Room - clean and spacious Breakfast - hot and well stocked Bed was a little too firm for us, so we purchased a memory foam to place on top after the first night.

Our stay was Great, the people were very friendly and helpful. The water from the creek was very soothing.

Location was great walking distance to everything breakfast needs work The pool area was gross and no towels

River balcony room scenery excellent, beds were comfortable, room was clean, pool was clean, linens were laundered between guests, no mold or bugs, parking was good, breakfast has variety and protein. Main issue: I never encountered this before, but there was NO hand soap in the rooms, and NO dispenser for soap in the rooms, you were supposed to use a tiny squeeze tube of body wash, which would maybe do for 1-3 handwashings. Imagine some of the folks staying there are not super cleanliness-oriented and they poop, don't wash their hands (cause no easily accessible soap), and then go handle the serving spoons for breakfast. I don't think that it was a coincidence that I got sick shortly after eating the eggs at breakfast. BASIC hygiene principles require either bars of soap or dispensers in the rooms; having neither is not a good money-saving method. We never got refills for anything while we were staying there. Some damage to locking mechanism on balcony door, pool saltwater chlorination set too high, pool area somewhat rundown, heating system removed, room smelled like someone else's feet, staffing seemed short, no-one was at the front desk at any time I looked, you had to call a number, one lady seemed to be expected to do all the work, and she works hard, owner seems to lurk on the property somewhere during the evening, but doesn't occupy the front desk either.

Room and hotel wasn't very clean. Toilet was safe to use
