Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mansfield

Decor and colors were eye-catching. Beds were comfortable. Room was very clean and the breakfast was good! Room was smaller than we expected. We opted for a roll away bed, but there was no where in the room to open it up. Our 5 year old slept on the reading nook, fell off, and bashed her face on the floor. Door knob kept falling off when we tried to close the bathroom door.

When we got there we DID NOT GET THE ROOM WE RESERVED ! Was told that booking didn’t have the right to reserve rooms, we still paid for the upgraded room and a 50$ charge for damages, which was supposed to be refunded, I should them our reservation and that it was confirmed, didn’t matter,

Breakfast was cold and u have to heat ur omelets

Everything we needed was in the room and the decor was nice. It seemed a bit high priced.

Traffic noise was too much - should discount rooms along Rt. 15. Breakfast left quite a bit to be desired. Do not appreciate that my $50 deposit was not immediately "refunded" - as promised - still waiting for confirmation of that -- seems to me a "receipt" of some type should be provided immediately. When can I expect confirmation that I was not charged an extra $50 for this stay?

Very clean, all the basics, nothing fancy.

The inside of the building was clean and bright. We loved the bench seat at our room window. There was breakfast and a swimming pool as stated online. It was a relief to know that the fire alarms worked. The hotel was convenient to the location we needed to travel too. The outside of the building had overflowing trash cans and there were cigarette butts laying all over the sidewalks. The breakfast was unwrap and heat in the microwave type, which was better than nothing,but not what we expected, and very cramped space. People could barely move around each other. Staff was not in any sort of uniform, and could not be identified except for their walkie talkie, and they were wearing a crop top, with their navel out, handling food. This did not seem very professional. There were no clean, dry towels available at the pool. There was no shampoo, thankfully we brought our own. The younger staff members didn't really acknowledge us, and they seemed overwhelmed/untrained on how to handle guests and fire alarms going off, which happened around 6am that Sunday- there was no evactuation of the building or any explanation. They justbfrantically kept answering phones. Also, our tub stopper didnt work, and the faucet was really hard to turn.
