Harbor Light Inn

The continental breakfast was limited and each day was repetitive.

The innkeepers and staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the homemade freshly baked muffins and blueberry or banana breads. The bed was comfortable and sheets so soft I need to get some for myself. Very charming property near shops and a few restaurants. As with all older properties there are some small inconveniences like small narrow stairways and an older air conditioner that somehow turned off during the day while we were gone and came back to a sweltering attic level room. But the overall experience was excellent.

Wonderful hotel, great amenities, gracious staff! Great location, lovely lounge, tasty breakfast! Great pool, clean and comfortable rooms! Would definitely stay again!

Exellent staff. Room was OK. Could only enter room from outside. To get to main part had to go outside, then enter the main part of the building. It was pouring rain for 2 days, so that was not pleasant.

The room was very nice with a fireplace and an update bathroom. Loved the outside pool area and the breakfast. We would definitely go back.

As soon as we got there the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned being vegan regarding breakfast options and they went out of their way to get extra vegan foods for me! There was a lovely breakfast spread and it was wonderful to have specific options for me included! Beyond that the room was clean and beautiful. There were several cute common room areas and the outdoor space was delightful. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature. I don't think a single thing was a problem. The only struggle was going to the top floor with luggage and narrow stairways but they cant do much about that.

From check-in to check-out, the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The inn was spotless, fresh-smelling, and inviting throughout our visit. Our room on the top floor was bright, airy, and comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the daily-refilled water container, suitcase benches, and quality bathroom amenities. The continental breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of options, including eggs, yogurt, granola, cereal, bagels, and fresh coffee. The dining area was charming, and the beautifully landscaped patio and pool area provided a peaceful place to relax. One evening, we enjoyed spending time in the cozy living room, complete with a chess set, piano, and wine service. It was a wonderful way to unwind. We also loved exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. Marblehead is a charming and peaceful town, and Harbor Light Inn was the perfect place to stay. We look forward to visiting again.

The breakfast was simple but excellent, featuring bread still warm from the oven, fruit, yogurt, etc. The breakfast room was very attractive, too.

Beautiful classic property inside and out. Wonderful breakfast, lots of options, freshly baked pastry. Staff are kind and personable. Small friendly pub on site with small bites menu. Walkable to shopping and waterfront, restaurants. Quiet. 3 floors, steep stairs, no elevator. We will stay again. A special place.

Excellent location and parking. The back yard area is very nice as is the bar, lounge area and breakfast area. The hallway smelled of fish the afternoon we arrived but the smell was pretty much gone by evening

What a beautiful place - a little slice of history in the heart of Marblehead! We visited for our anniversary, and the staff upgraded our room. They were kind, helpful, and communication couldn't have been better. Our room was a dream - spacious, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommend!

This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere in the US. Lovely inn! Each room has its own individual charm as no two rooms are alike. A bonus is the great continental breakfast! Make detours to Marblehead every time we come to Boston just so we can include a stay here.

The location of Harbor Light Inn in Marblehead, MA perfect- close to everything and tons of parking on-site. The staff were exceptional and beyond friendly and helpful. They suggested several places to dine and see in the area. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Everything about this inn is perfect. Lovely rooms, friendly staff. It is a wonderful place to stay in Marble Head. We have been back several times, and this is where we will continue to stay each time we visit this area!
