The Hotel Marblehead

It looked nothing like the pictures online. Can’t figure out if this was an old tenament building or how it came to be a hotel. Reminded us of the bates motel from outside. Heater did not work in room although they did provide extra blankets. It just had a creepy vibe and was not a place we wanted to hang out at other than to sleep.

Property was more of an Inn style, which was totally ok. No coffee one morning available, bummed about that. Very quiet place, saw and heard nothing. The mini fridge on the floor was odd. But it was a good stay.

nice cute little hotel! if you need coffee in the morning you might need to make your own because we had to wait for the hotel staff till 10:30 to arrive to get coffee

This isn’t the typical type of place we usually stay. It was a little different not staying in a hotel. It was quiet , bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Overall a nice stay.

Large open band aid was outside office door the entire time we were there. Really no amenities. Trouble locking door. Wish I could get our money back

It was wonderful staying here and I highly recommend it. Typically I try to steer clear of the hotel room when I am on a trip but this came with a tub with jets and was very comfortable! They even give a voucher for an amazing muffin shop near by which is ran by the most Italian guy I've ever met, truly amazing!

Lovely hotel, didn’t meet any staff as arrived late for self check in. Room was nice but aircon very loud. Nice shower, good carpark and plenty of tea & coffee in the lobby & nice communal areas.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. It was all we could have asked for!

I also forgot my rings in our room the next day after we had checked out. I called that afternoon as soon as I realized I was missing them, and she ran right away to gather them and had them waiting for me once again at the front desk after hours. This hotel sparks imagination, wondering what it must have been like to live in such a beautiful place hundreds of years ago. Highly recommend! We will be returning as soon as we can!

Our stay at The Marblehead Hotel was excellent. The rooms are spotless, the linens and towels are like brand new and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The staff is so attentive- returns calls quickly and so friendly and helpful once on property. I highly recommend this property as it's quiet, conveniently located to everything (shops, restaurants, Salem, etc) and is extremely safe- if one is traveling alone. We will certainly return in the future as we truly felt 'at home'.

Location was great and it’s a beautiful converted home with very friendly staff and nicely decorated and well appointed room The bed and pillow were incredibly uncomfortable and with no one there at night it didn’t feel worth of a late text to the manager

Charming! Great location! The young lady at front desk was so sweet and helpful! Loved the king size bed and little patio!

Very noisy - you can hear everything going on inside the building from your room.

Charming place. Room was small but so warm and cozy. I inadvertently booked an accessible room, so loved the fact that there was a chair in the shower to put my foot on while leg shaving. (Every hotel room in America should have at least a ledge of some kind for this!) Like most of the places we’ve been staying, the Internet was crap. But loved our stay here.
