In general is a good stay but there a few cons, generally related with the staff. They are slow not very helpful young people mostly. The front desk. Laconic person speak very low plus the noisy lobby you can imagine. They didn’t explain how the self parking worked and we got stuck inside. The worst part was with the staff that manage the beach umbrellas and chairs. We stayed late in the water and when we got out all our stuff were places in the sand and the chairs were picked up, totally unexpected and not warned, my guess, due to some environmental non-sense, maybe related with the sea turtles. Humanity is obsessed with the damn turtles.

We had a wonderful stay overall at the JW Marriott Marco Island. The resort is beautiful, the beach is stunning, and the amenities were excellent. My wife especially enjoyed her spa experience, and we had a fantastic birthday dinner at Ario. The staff we encountered were friendly, and our family created many wonderful memories during our stay. The only disappointment was the lack of recognition for my wife's birthday. I noted the special occasion when making the reservation and also mentioned it again in person at check-in. Unfortunately, there was no birthday card, welcome note, or even a simple acknowledgment from the hotel. For a luxury resort of this caliber, I expected at least a small gesture to make the occasion feel special. It wasn't about receiving an expensive gift—it was about the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that guests associate with a premium hospitality experience. Despite that, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the beautiful property and the memories we made as a family. I hope the hotel improves its communication and guest recognition for special occasions in the future.

This resort needs a lot of updates for the price you are paying,The pictures on the website make you believe that you are going to stay at a beautiful place. Where do I start? Let's start with the rooms-the toilet would not flush unless you hold it down with your finger, after that you have to wait a couple of minutes to do it again, the shower had no pressure and depends on the day you either burn yourself cause the water was so hot and you couldn't make it colder or some days you would have to almost take a cold shower cause no hot water around, the pools- the chairs are disgusting, they should power wash them or for the money you pay they should replace them, not enough activities for younger kids,my grandson is 3 1/2,for such a kids oriented resort you can't watch the fire man over and over again or be at the arcade every night, the carpet in the hotel is pretty stained, the hallway smells like sewer, the place needs a major makeover. I've been to many upscale resorts in my life and I always thought my kids, you get what you paid for it, except this place, very disappointed with my trip, the pictures look amazing and you kind of expect to find amazing, the pillows on the bed are completely flat,no difference on sleeping with a pillow or just on a flat bed,I don't usually coment on reviews, but this time I could not hold myself, I will never return here for vacation again, sorry that I had to sound so negative, but it's nothing but reality.

Check in was fast and friendly, Gamal was very professional and a pleasure to talk too. The beach staff set up our chairs and umbrellas and were very pleasant. This resort seems a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it. All the restaurant were delicious and they make the best piña colada. It was a great weekend.
