Location could be a challenge if you don't have a car

Swimming pool area nice but very dirty - The terrible smell in the bathroom and everywhere in the bedroom, it felt like sleeping in a sewer. Asked for another bedroom, nothing was available, while we only saw a few people in this empty hotel. Floor dirty in the bedroom. - Located in a very noisy place next to a market. Not the kind of place we were expecting outside of the big city. - The food is overpriced, our most expensive dinner in Morocco, and they were not flexible on timings. With kids we asked to eat at 7pm, we started eating at 8. - don’t expect to have an early breakfast if you’re in a hurry, we were driving back to the airport in the morning. Impossible to eat before 8am. - Difficult to communicate with staff, in French or English, they were also quite rude when we complained about all of this

The location was 20 minutes from Marrakech center and it was very calm and peaceful , the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff was amazing! We got to the palace very late around midnight and they hosted us, brought us tea and gave us a great room upgrade. The breakfast was a buffet and everything was delicious. I think this palace is what Marrakech is all about.

Depending what you are wanting for us it was nice clean quiet and idillic - friendly helpful staff very clean and well presented

A place to relax. Location with public transport was challenging in Ramadan especially close to breaking the fasting time.

The hotel is a bit outside of the city, but very quiet and beautiful. Due to the good dinner menu this wasn't a problem. If you ask them them they also adjusted the food for vegan diet. This place was perfect for relaxing after our daytrips. Also the staff was very kind.

An oasis of calm and tranquility just outside the business of Marrakech
-
Amazing hosts - really make you feel welcome Nice rooms A place to chill The garbage belt outside - you do not notice it when you are inside. The prices of the alcohol were to expensive.

Facilities and staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Great value food. Slightly out of the way but not a problem as taxis are cheap. All trips included transport

Beautiful hotel in a stunning garden setting. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and nice. The fireplace was a lovely touch but it left the hotel quite smokey.

Very nice hotel, with comfy rooms and good facilities. Staff was more than pleasant and very much customer oriented. The location is far away from the city and the neighborhood that is quite unpleasant.

- fast internet - very friendly staff - pool looks great - Bed linen was not of a high enough standard - food was not up to standard of previous meals I ate in Morrocco for two weeks - has great potential but something amiss - current photos and reviews seems to be from when it was called Dar Ilham and was under a previous owner before September of this year, it would appear that things have changed and don’t s so photos and reviews are misleading and are from the ‘old hotel’ - decor hit and miss and ambience lacking for example no candles or lit fire during dinner, felt cold

Shower was cold despite several notifications. Breakfast was underaverage and definitely not on the level of pricing of this venue. Staff is kind, but inexperienced, definitely not fit for a butique place. Entrance gate not functioning properly. Place is far away from Marrakesh and the location and surroundings are horrible.

On a positive note, the place was clean, and the staff was generally friendly. However, their lack of attention to fixing the hot water issue and their unaccommodating sleeping arrangements really overshadowed any positives. I booked this place with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the main issues I encountered during my stay: 1. The biggest issue was the lack of hot water in the shower. I raised this concern multiple times with the staff, but despite their assurances, nothing was fixed during my entire stay. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing especially in a cold day. 2. If you book for more than two people, be prepared for a very uncomfortable experience. Instead of a proper sofa bed, they simply removed the sofa and placed two beds on a steel support directly on the floor. This meant that half of our group had to sleep on an incredibly uncomfortable, low-lying bed with no proper support. It was hard to get any rest. 3. One of the guests accidentally hit my car in the parking lot, and to make matters worse, there are no security cameras in the area. This made me feel unsafe and left me with no way to resolve the situation properly. 4. The location is quite remote, with the nearest decent area being over 13 km away. This made it difficult to access any attractions or activities without a long drive, which was really inconvenient. Overall, I would not recommend this property, especially if you're looking for comfort, good service, and a convenient location.
