Manzil La Tortue

NOTHING It was the worst experience we ever had in a hotel. We went for an overnight trip to Toubkal and left all our bagage that was not needed for the trip in their hands. It was stated that we could leave it in their hands and the security man took our luggage in a small room which was caputered on camera. A day later when came back all our luggage was gone: e-readers, AirPods, all our clothes - EVERYTHING . They told us a story that the garbage man had thrown it accidentally. They promised us that they would get our luggage back or would compensated all our losses but they lied in our face. We had to make a list with all our items which was in total 2000€ for the 3 of us. Walid the office manager lead us on until the last moment and had us searching 30 minutes before our taxi to the house of the so named garbage man to ask our stuff back.. insane situation. The manager of the hotel did nothing to get our stuff back- it was not his problem and we were fools to trust the hotel with our luggage. We had to take our flight home so we were pressured to leave without our stuff and with a ridiculous small amount as compensation. They just laughed with us. The overall experience was a nightmare. Also the hygiene of this hotel is unhealthy: malts in tent, sinks are clocked,.. We recommend everyone who wants to enjoy their vacation and to keep their belongings to NEVER go to this hotel.

We loved the relaxing atmosphere of our tent. The property is something between a 4 star resort and a camping for caravans. The owners and the staff are very polite and willing to help us having our stay as easy as possible. Beautiful pool and surroundings. A bit far far the city

The apartment and the atmosphere in general were really beautiful and Manzil La Tortue is a nice and peaceful sanctuary close to the hectic city of Marrakech. Def a must visit. Since it is not allowed to bring your own food/drinks, I would really like some sort of a minibar or a possibility to buy some snacks during the day, apart from the lunch and dinner menu. Especially for guests that stay longer than a day just for the pool (we stayed six days). Then you totally depend on the set meal times and the availability of the staff for for example water.

The breakfast was very good, high quality products and fresh juice. After 5 days it became a bit monotone, there were some differences in breakfast depending on the staff.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and a real Moroccan experience. We loved a Berrba tent room, lovely and warm. Staff were attentive, friendly, and very helpful . The pool was cold but it was Dec!

It was just amazing. I can't wait to for the next trip ans stay in Mazil Tortue !

This was by far the best stay I’ve had on Booking, no exceptions. We originally booked a small room, but upon arrival, the owner generously upgraded us to a superior room at no extra cost, double the value of what we paid! Beyond that, I was truly impressed by the attention to detail, not just in the room but throughout the entire hotel. There’s so much to admire, whether from an interior design perspective or the little touches, like the beautifully presented food and the subtle, pleasant scent of the furniture. The location was peaceful, slightly away from the city, making it perfect for fresh air and proximity to the mountains. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, the room was exceptional, and I will definitely be coming back

Great experience. Family tent is excellent experience for kids. Separate rooms with own sink. Great staff and breakfast. Only caution is that the road leading to property is unpaved and difficult to find at night if going first time. Google maps leads to incorrect route through residential alley instead of the path behind it.

This is a truly idyllic place. It is absolutely beautiful - arty spacious rooms with lots of light and pretty objects - with a wonderful swimming pool and delightful bar/restaurant serving fabulous meals. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more efficient. We felt so lucky to be staying here.

A small piece of paradise outside of Marrakech. An amazing place to stay and relax.

It’s simplicity, design, the gardens, the pool, the staff, the welcome, breakfast …. All of which were superb. Relaxed family atmosphere, peaceful. Overall, just a beautiful place to stay. Nothing at all… personally, I’d have loved a kettle and coffee in the room and a more flexible menu for vegetarians, but I didn’t go without.

We were made to feel very welcome, customer service was excellent the facilities were excellent we really enjoyed our time here.
