This stay was an exceptionally good experience and we felt at home from the first moment

Location, staff, cleanliness.

We were pleased with 3 night stay in Riad Mehdia . The location is perfect for exploring Marrakesh just a 10 minute walk to the main square. It is a beautiful riad. We loved the traditional Moroccan design and lovely rooftop terrace. Room was clean and nice but a little too dark. Riad staff was very friendly and helpful. We were welcome with Moroccan mint tea and some biscuits. Breakfast was good. The room was too dark.

We felt so incredibly cared for. ALL staff very personable and professional. We are ever grateful for this experience. There is nothing to 'not' like. Everything was perfect!

The room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included, and it was different every day, with a mix of savory and sweet traditional flavors. The location was very convenient, very close to the central square and near shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Muhammad! He was the best host, always ready to help with any questions we had, and always with a smile on his face. ? We stayed in a terrace room, which offered a lovely space to enjoy tea, but it was also quite cold. We were there in November, and although the outside temperature was not very low, the room felt colder than outside, especially at night. There was an AC, but it did not seem to work properly for heating the room. Sleeping was manageable since we had blankets, but we missed the overall coziness of the room at night. Two other small things to note: the lighting in the room was quite low, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very strong.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Soufiane, Mohammed, and Hicham, whose kindness and hospitality instantly made us feel at home. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect, offering thoughtful recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. The Riad itself is a beautifully preserved and tastefully decorated traditional home, full of character and charm. Every detail—from the intricate tilework to the softly lit alcoves—reflects the spirit of Moroccan design. Our room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable, a peaceful retreat after our daily adventures. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served on the ground floor beneath the shade of banana trees. It was a tranquil setting, where time seemed to slow down as we sipped fresh juice and sampled homemade bread and pastries. After a rejuvenating Hamam and relaxing massage, I was served mint tea on the rooftop terrace—a thoughtful gesture I’ll never forget. The view from up there was breathtaking, with the Atlas Mountains stretching across the horizon, a moment of absolute serenity. The Riad is ideally located in the heart of the Medina—peacefully tucked away yet just a short walk from the vibrant souks, historic sites, and local eateries. We explored most of the area on foot, which made the experience even more immersive and special. Our stay was truly unforgettable, not only because of the beauty of the place but because of the warmth and care of Soufiane, Mohammed, and Hicham. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and heartwarming experience in Marrakesh.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Mohammed and Hisham went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with lots of colour and thought into the design. I shared a twin with a friend and there was plenty of space. The Hammam and massage was onsite was an added luxury. I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like, even the breakfast was freshly cooked with a different selection each day.
